The Miramonte High School girls basketball team kept alive their dream of a state title Saturday night, as the Matadors beat Sacred Heart Cathedral, 76-61, in San Francisco. With the win, the Matadors move on to the Regional Semifinals (the State Quarterfinals) to play Sacramento High School. That game will be played at Sacramento High School on Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m.

The Miramonte boys were unable to keep the same dream alive, as their season came to an end on Saturday night. The boys also played Sacred Heart Cathedral in San Francisco and trailed the whole game, losing 90-57.
