The Moraga Historical Society is presenting an event called “The East Bay Hills Project: Reconnecting Images of the mid-20th Century to Solve a Mystery Involving a Forgotten Railroad” in the Moraga Library Conference Room this Thursday, March 22, at 7:30 p.m. Many of the photos that will be shared have never been seen by the public before. The event is free and open to the public.
On Thursday, March 29, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., the Moraga Library will host a free screening of the documentary, ”Children of the Amazon.” The documentary is about the transformation that took place in communities when a road was built through the Amazon area. Following the screening, Brazilian filmmaker Denise Zmekhol will lead a discussion.
