The Campolindo softball team is looking to continue the program’s history of success. So far this season, the Cougars are off to a good start with a 5-2 overall record. The Cougars won their first DFAL game in dramatic fashion, scoring five runs in the bottom of the 7th inning (the last inning) to come back and win 7-6.
The Acalanes softball team is also having some early season success with a 7-3 overall record. The Dons are 1-1 in league play after winning their DFAL opener and running into a tough Alhambra team in their second league game.
The Miramonte softball team went 3-1 in nonleague play prior to the DFAL starting. The Matadors have struggled in their first two DFAL games, losing 7-0 to Dougherty Valley and 21-0 to Alhambra.
