Orinda’s Boy Scout Troop 303 held their most recent Court of Honor on March 25 at the Orinda Community Center to honor five new Eagle Scouts.

The new Eagle Scouts are Philip Hoxie, Eric Liu, Charles Ross, Conor Whatley and Timothy Witbeck.

Ross and Hoxie are juniors at Miramonte High School, while Witbeck is a senior at the school. Whatley is a senior at Bentley School, and Liu is a freshman at Cal.

In order to become Eagle Scouts, the boys all had to complete community service projects as their final requirement. These five boys’ projects included building a picnic table for Save Mt. Diablo’s Mangini Ranch Property and for Orinda’s Christian Science Church and building benches for the Contra Costa Gospel Church.
