Springhill Elementary School in Lafayette will be hosting the 2nd Annual Blood Drive in memory of Rachael Wenger on Friday, May 11, from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Wenger died on April 2, 2010, at the age of eight, after a long fight with a chronic illness. Her family organizes the blood drive as a way of giving back, as she was the recipient of donated blood on many occasions during her life.
