The St. Mary’s college baseball team started their season well, but the Gaels have struggled recently. With a 22-23 overall record, the Gaels look like a longshot to qualify for the NCAA Tournament. The Gaels are 6-12 in the West Coast Conference with six conference games remaining (three at Portland and three at home vs. USF). They also have two non-conference games left against Sacramento State and UC Davis.

The St. Mary’s softball team has had a successful season and are set to play in the PCSC Championship Series this weekend against Portland State to determine the conference champion. The Gaels are 26-21 overall, but they stormed through the PCSC to compile a 15-4 conference record.
