Sully is coming to Lafayette

Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, the pilot who famously safely landed his plane on the Hudson River, will be in Lafayette on Monday, May 21, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., for a lecture and discussion on the qualities of leadership.
Sullenberger recently published a book on the topic of leadership called “Making a Difference: Stories of Vision and Courage from America’s Leaders.”
The event, which is sponsored by the Commonwealth Club of California, will be held at the Lafayette Veterans Memorial Hall.
Cost is $20 for general admission, $12 for Commonwealth members and $7 for students.
