Lafayette Mayor Carol Federighi has announced that she has no plans to enter her name into the race for reelection this November. Federighi has served as a council member since 1999 and has been a regular part of Lafayette’s city government since 1980.

Three seats on Lafayette’s City Council will be available in the upcoming election. Vice Mayor Mike Anderson and council member Carl Anduri’s seats are also open.

Official nominations for the open council seats will be accepted by the City of Lafayette between July 16 and August 10.

For information on the open council seats, contact City Clerk Joanne Robbins at 925-284-1968.
