Pornthep Suvanasarn, a former employee at the 24 Hour Fitness in Moraga and former Saint Mary’s College student, was convicted Thursday of indecent exposure, and annoying or molesting a child. The charges stem from an incident where he exposed himself to a 5-year-old boy while working in the 24 Hour Fitness child care center.

Suvanasarn was also charged with the same two crimes in connection to a 5-year-old girl, but the jury acquitted Suvanasarn on those charges.

Suvanasarn will be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life. He will return to court on Aug. 13 when he will be sentenced to a punishment ranging from probation to one year in county jail.
