Moraga Police are searching for a man seen near the Joaquin Moraga Intermediate School campus asking students if they needed rides.

According to police, the male driver of a gold SUV, possibly with a broken back window, asked a male student at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday if he wanted a ride. When the student said no, the driver, who had been parked on Camino Pablo across from the school, drove off toward Canyon Road.

The same male student reported seeing the same vehicle parked near the school again after school on Thursday.

Police say that the description of the man matches one of a man who reportedly asked a student if they needed a ride two weeks ago near JM.

The suspect is described as a “clean-shaven, college-age white man with a buzz cut hair style.”

Call Moraga police at 925-284-5010 with any information or to report any sightings of the vehicle.
