The Campolindo football team may have had some last year’s magic carry over in their game Friday night against Acalanes. In a high-scoring, back and forth battle, the Dons took a 39-34 lead on a touchdown with under four minutes left to play. The Cougars marched the ball down the field to have a third down play four yards from the endzone with the clock almost out. The Dons made the stop, but the Cougars rushed to the line and got the snap off for one final play, which the Cougars scored on to win the game, 40-39. Both teams are now 4-1 on the season.

Miramonte could not stop Dublin running backĀ Ondre Rudolph. Rudolph rushed for 341 yards and three touchdowns in Dublin’s 29-21 win over Miramonte. The Matadors are 2-3 this season.
