College here I come!
This morning I took a shower, brushed my teeth, and got ready for school. I came to school earlier than usual, because we had to drop my brother at school. But, that’s beside the point. I came in to 1st period 15 minutes early and studied for
the AP psychology test. My friend came in a few years later and yelled that she got into UC Davis.
I got nervous and was frantic. I needed to get to the closest
computer with Internet access. Luckily, my econ teacher isn’t that strict. She let me go next door and check in the computer. The computers at school are so
slow. It took about 10 minutes to start up and then 10 more just to get started. I was just too antsy and the computer wasn’t cooperating with me.
Finally, I reached the myadmissions page and type in my login name and password (which, by the way Davis makes it confusing because they require it to have
punctuation marks and capital letters). The page popped up and said “Congratulations on your admission to UC Davis.” I jumped for joy knowing that I was going to college.
I’m waiting for UC Berkeley and Stanford, but it’s
comforting to know that you have place to go after high school other than home.
