Coachella (Valley Music and Arts Festival) officially
released their lineup today.. Bjork, Red Hot Chili
Peppers, and Rage Against the Machine are the
headliners for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday,
respectively. Although I’m dissapointed that last
year’s Sigur Ros and Daft Punk are not appearing this
time around (although expected, since few artists get
to perform consecutive festivals), I am nontheless
excited for Bjork, Jesus and Mary Chain, Sonic Youth,
The Arcade Fire, and DJ Tiesto. Also, this will be the
second time I get to see rapper Busdriver live.

Take a look at Coachella’s set list at
www.coachella.com and tell me who you are looking
forward to. Friday night is the must-go concert night
for me, although I’ll have to take a look at the
pricing to see if I can afford to attend all three
days, as tickets are around 100 dollars per day and
accomodations can run just as much if not more.

Nonetheless, Coachella is always a big deal for my
friends and I; it’s also one of the biggest music
festivals in the United States. Whatever ends up
happening for me at Coachella, I’ll be happy just to
be there.
