This is a beautiful story, of a young man honoring his grandmother, by taking her to senior prom, that she was not able to attend long ago. How many young men would comitt to this measure of love and respect to their grandmother on their special day?

This is so wonderful to see, it brought tears to my eyes. I have two grown son’s and a 3
year old granddaughter. I work with young people everyday, mainly recent graduates.
Gabriel, you are the exception. Mattie I know the young lades were upset that your
handsome grandson did’nt take one of them, but I can see by the smile on your face that
the evening was your special moment. God bless you both.

I am so glad to hear a great story about our black youth, it seems like the only stories you hear are usually when they have done something wrong. It’s very nice to hear one like this. Gabriel you are one in a million and will definitely make a great husband one day. Good luck and god bless.

It clear this handsome young man could’ve taken any girl he wanted. It’s definately a blessing that he has such awesome character. This family is very blessed. Thanks for sharing this story.

I saw this video just a few moments ago and had to comment. This is a very touching story of a grandsons love for his grandmother. In this day and time it is truly difficult to find adults who care half as much as this young man does. We truly need more young people like him. My mother never went to her prom either, and one day I hope to have the means to throw her a prom of her own with the old school music from the seventies.
