While you’re waiting for the producers of Hip-Hop Colony to finish their newest documentary, Ni Wakati (It’s Time”), there are two films out that take on the power of the rap. “Inventos:Hip Hop Cubano” is playing at the Oakland International Film Festival and is available on DVD and mix tape through www.clenchedfistproductions.com. The other film is “Home Grown: HipLife in Ghana.”
