Raider nation our future has arrived:-)Now all we need to do is trade Fabion Washington and Either Fargus or Rhoads 4 a quality receiver (Roy Williams) . Dont worry about our run D we will b 10 Times better with out the aged Sapp who,though was excellent on passing downs but showed no effort against the run. Dont 4 get just 2 yrs ago our D was ranked 3rd over all in total Defense we have a solid core that can get the job done & with the addition of D Hall we can gamble more with our safeties. Have faith brothers & dont buy in to some of those supposed experts. prime example when they were hoping D Mac was drafted by the jets they spoke of all the good he can bring to that franchise when we got him all they wanted to speak of was his flaws. RAIDER HATERS & thats ok but we cant buy in to the hatred. I cant speak 4 all of u but i was born and raised in Oakland though im not there now I’ve been a Raider since birth so those of u thats been Raiders 4 over the last 3 decades know that we have always been hated . our moves always critizized. This is our Year Raiders 4 Life

wothout TD elway would never have won a SB and may not be in the HOF, his entire career is based on riding on TD’s back and “the drive”, which, however great, does not overshadow 10 years of sub par quarterbacking followed by 6 years of average QB play, and now he’s considered one of the top 5 QBs of all time? that’s ridiculous

Pirate – I think we need 5 cbs, but all non-starters should be playing special teams. Either Routt or Washington will be dime back. And they’re paid way too much for that role. Based on late last year, Routt might have a bad attitude and have to go as well (recall how poorly he handled criticism last year).
Fabes needs to go and we will take the cap hit. Bums me out because two years ago, I thought he would be a star. I also thought he would break out last year. Now he’s at best an overpriced back up. At worst a cancer, or an outright cut.

Dakota – I agree with your RB assessment. Seems pretty unfortunate that we’re paying Fargas a bunch of money to be third string.

For both RB and CB, we have too many high priced players on the roster.
