Trevor Scott could be a super steal. He is a little underweight but has something special about him. He will get the time to grow and contribute later this season. Fans need to learn to brave the local media and national media. The Raiders are attacked every year and we need to let the world know we support them. I am convince there are insiders giving trading information with NFL front office and they want to prevent the Raiders from winning to get us to stay home so the team and be relocated, without Al, is their hope....so we need to critique the Raiders when they deserve it but support them team against corrupt NFL.

thank you.

PREDICTIONS FOR THE SEASON:

1. The Raiders will be a strong running team.

2. The passing game will be mostly awful.

3 The Raiders will regret wasting money on Walker, Hall, and Kelly.

4. The run defense will yet agin be poor

5. The Raiders will continue to lose close games at the end due to Al's dated "prevent you from winning defense"

6. Some improvement, but another frustrating season. The Raider have too many holes and weak players, and nothing at LT worth a damn.

I was scrolling through the middle of the list of blogs already posted. Are we really talking about politics here? This is a football website. Come on, aren't we all supposed to just be Raider fans? That's one of the things I think is cool about being a Raider fan is it means that you're part of a brotherhood (or family, for the ladies) where it doesn't really matter what your background is because you're fans and you get along because you both stick with the Raiders.

Cornerbacks need to realize that they should have the mentality more of offensive linemen than of running backs and wide receivers. What I mean to say is, when an Offensive Lineman is having a great game you hardly hear his name called because the man he is blocking is not getting to the quarterback and when it's a run, the man he's blocking is not making the play. Same thing for the corners. You can watch a whole game and forget Nnamdi even plays for the Raiders.

It really ticked me off when Charles Woodson was on the team when I'd read about how great he was in camp and how he was so good he'd get bored and bait quarterbacks to throw his way so he could make plays. Give me a break. That's being selfish and leads to bad habits. Not to mention that I never really felt he was as good as everyone thought he was. It seemed like I saw him get burned a lot. You can't tell all the time for sure because you don't know if he's chasing his man or someone else's man but I do know that he was not perfect. Plaxico Burress sure ran his mouth a lot about Green Bay's corners during the NFC Championship game.

Back to the point, I hope Hall is not another Woodson who is more concerned about his headlines and his stats than he is about his actual play. Nnamdi had no INTs for two years and then has 10 and then has close to none last year. Point is, INTs are not always a sign of good play because it means you're getting thrown on. I don't care if Hall makes a big play or two and takes one to the house if he's getting 15, 20 yard pass plays made on him the rest of the game, not to mention the rest of the season. You know he's made more Pro Bowls than Nnamdi, right? That's because people vote on flash and not on actual play. Can you imagine Hall showing up to camp on time if he had a contract situation like Nnamdi's? I can't either. This isn't baseball, it's football. Stats are only an indication of how things are going on the field but they don't tell the whole story. I hope Hall is ready to prove his worth this year because this is make or break. He's probably not even going to be covering the best receiver because Nnamdi will take that or they'll be covering whoever lines up on their side.

For all his publicity I haven't heard too much of how well Hall is doing out there and I'm concerned about it. I hope he is able to step it up and justify not only the money the Raiders invested in him but also the draft pick that they had to give up.
