• Jim Harbaugh — Though his name surfaced in regards to Oakland’s interest in him a few weeks back, the Stanford head coach doesn’t have to settle for that losing proposition. Harbaugh, the ex-NFL quarterback, has name recognition, great motivational skills and he’s known as a high-energy, positive individual. And the head coaching success of his brother, John, in Baltimore makes him even more attractive.
While the NFL could come calling, another possibility to keep an eye on is Notre Dame. Harbaugh is extremely popular in Indiana following his successful career with the Colts, and he’s known as a great recruiter. Given Harbaugh’s public rebuke of his alma mater, Michigan, last year, wouldn’t that spice up the Irish-Wolverine rivalry?
• Mike Leach — The Texas Tech head coach wouldn’t be a fit for everyone. He’s an offensive innovator in the Mike Martz mold, but he’s a bit of a loose cannon — also a Martz-ian trait — and that would scare off some teams. But it only takes one NFL owner who’s intrigued enough to interview him, and then who knows? What if Leach wound up going from the Red Raiders to the Raiders?”

Now we have this weirdo named Senile King, who kicks the door open, stands on a soap box, and proclaims that because America has elected a black president, that black athletes should start behaving themselves. Hmmm. What percentage of black athletes have been arrested for anything, or have even had incidents, Senile one? More than 50%? Come back when there are. Because as it stands, and as it always stood, most black athletes are professional adults. But I could understand how you would forget that when you probably spend 9 hours a day listening to unimaginative, uncharismatic white sports radio hosts blame black athletes for the lack of competitiveness in today’s pro sports (overlooking the role owners have played in it, by allowing t.v. and advertisers to influence the direction of the game…but then again, who signs the radio hosts’ checks???).

Back from lunch and still not a racist. Flores is from Sanger, CA. I know he is a hispanic and a great coach, Art Shell is Black and he was a great tackle for the Oakland Raiders and I think he was a true gentleman for bailing out ole Al a few years ago. I am Irish, Norwegian, English, and Cherokee Indian. And I am not racist. I just didn’t think Plunkett was hispanic and I am man enough to admit I was wrong. What’s a bigger issue than Kelly’s effort, Vegas Raider, because I’m sure he’s probably not the worst defensive lineman in the NFL, is the fact that he was signed for all of that money. I hear what you’re saying, that people shouldn’t hate on “him”. But you can count on the fact that every time Kelly’s name is brought up, the fact that we are going to lose probably the best CB in the game, due to the money spent on Kelly, will be brought up as well.

408, let me be more clear, I really didn’t like C Bo’s music. Kind of switched from hard core LA style to hyphy…I dunno. Just never really liked his music. Far as where he’s from, I just have to be honest. I lived closer to Oak Park and Gardens might as well be on another planet. Sacramento is fragmented. Poor neighborhoods are separated by industrial areas or rich areas. So, each hood has it’s own different influence. Most of Sac region is unincorporated county, too. It’s like a bunch of cities rolled into one medium sized city, and I just wasn’t from C Bo’s city, that’s all. The Kings were starting to bring everyone together when they were winning. C Webber almost made Sac a unified city. LOL.

Information for all of you who are coming to San Diego for the Raider-Charger game. The Raiders are staying at the Marriott Hotel in Mission Valley and should be there around 3:00 PM Wednesday afternoon. This is a chance to see the current team file in, and to meet many retired Raider players like Tom Flores and Jim Plunkett in the lounge. You can meet Raider fans from all over. I will be there wearing a black Raiders “Starter” jacket. Be sure to say hello.
Also that Wednesday evening there is a big Raider party put on by the Raiders Fan Club of San Diego. This will be at the Rock Bottom Restaurant in downtown San Diego. This event is purported to have many retired Raiders (Ben Davidson, etc) attending. There is an admission charge but that will cover all you can eat food and drink.
I hope thousands of you make the trip to San Diego and help cheer our Oakland Raiders to victory!

yeh, 103.5 is still on the air, and still sucks, Vegas.
It was good back in the day. Played mostly west coast hip hop and neo soul type stuff, Erika Badu, etc. Now they wouldn’t play a west coast song if it were a dying kid’s last request.

Oh yeah, you know the cover up was being attempted in the Plaxi case. He used an alias, and you know he tried to pay off the doctors and maybe even some staff to not report it to the police.
It’s New York, so you know some cops might be already trying to cover it up as well.
