No sign of cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha as the Raiders completed warmups and drills and began Wednesday’s practice.

More to come later from conference calls with Bucs coach Jon Gruden and quarterback Jeff Garcia as well as post-practice sessions with the Raiders . . .

  • the lone raider…

Have we seen the last of Namdi? Hope not…

We really can’t take gallery into account when drafting this year. He was a can’t miss prospect who would still have gone top 5 if we wouldn’t have taken him.. And you never know, if we had a good OL coach at the time, he may have turned out totally different. I think LT is too big of a need to pass in the 1st round. If we want consistancy, then a LT is it.. Russel needs time to throw. McFadden needs holes to run thru.

MLB can be found later in the draft. We can find one possession receiver in FA.. We just need someone who can catch and be a leader for the younger guys.. We do need a pass rusher tho.

Hope we haven’t seen the last of Nnamdi, but holding Andre Johnson down was a good way to go out..

Time to trade Nnamdi for a player and 1st rd pick. So many holes to fill..

    Sac

That is something that we need on defense. A monster and a leader. We don’t have one player on defense that scares the crap out of offenses and we need one.

  • SacRaider

problem is when we go to nickel, one of the LBs will come off the field.. And Al doesn’t like to take LBs this high.. Our greater need is LT..

  • hwnrdr

Oh boy…did Nnamdi opt out already?
