4eva, Satele played RG for the Fins in the wildcat last year, and was projected at RG in 2009 after they added Grove. He’d be fine there for us. Carlisle is a gamble that we have now hedged against.

You know I keep hearing everyone talk about drafting or picking up centers and making them guards, guards making them tackles, tackles making them guards. Does this always work? Is that not what happened to Gallery, which made him a basket case for two or three years. Can we realistically keep switching lineman positions like that and think it will be successful?

RRS, you cut Morris if Wade has a good camp, and vice versa. I have never been a Morris fan, frankly (he pays a high price in weakness for his athleticism) and would not miss him. Only if McQ washes out post-injury would I keep Morris for guard depth.

As for long snapper, I would be training Jano to snap punts. He’s bigger than Condo, and a pretty good tackler. LOL.

Satelle has started 32 nfl games,in a row,at center.Big Al would be foolish 2 switch him 2 RG unless he still plans 2 take a center in the 1st 2 or 3 rounds,imo.

This is the thickest smoke-screen coming out of Oakland in a long time.Man its WIDE-OPEN AGAIN!!!

BSJ: that would be nice. Who would we cut though? Wade or Morris? Wade is a vet with tons of starting experience. Morris is young and versatile enough to play both guard and center. He can long snap too, but not as well as Condo
