for those who don’t see javon walker as a starter for this team,right now(during training camp)would be best time to trade him.i know one team that would snatch him up,possibly through a trade.maybe even a package deal with burgess.JAVON WALKER and D.BURGESS for HALOTI NGATA(ravens stud NT) and a 6th or 7th rounder next year.YOU CAN’T JUST CUT JAVON WALKER,YOU TRADE HIM.we’ve been “trying to trade” ANDREW WALTER,i don’t think so.Is the media saying detroit wouldn’t have given us a draft pick this year for Walter.I THINK WE’RE KEEPING HIM and waiting to see what JRUSS is going to do this year.

maybe walker is being saved for the season.the raiders can activate him at a later time,whenever they want.if i ran the raiders,that’s what i would do,especially if i felt he could actually help the other receivers in anyway possible.he wouldn’t be helpful catching passes,right now at this time,so sit him.there are camp arms and there is camp route runners.we know he can catch,we know he can run routes.the qb to wr timing comes later,sometimes well into the regular season.as far as the wr’s on the field,javon walker is the least of our worries.he might be an a**hole off the field,but on the field he’s a consumate proffessional.we will see if he’s past his prime.

This is the first time in a long time that I feel steadily and reasonably confident that the Raiders are heading in the right direction. Cable doesn’t make me swoon like Chucky; I thought he was the answer right from the beginning; Kiffin looked good, but he was a flash in the pan. Cable is down-to-earth, he accepts the situation, and is willing to work within it. Al’s presence is less and less each year, so Cable has autonomy of a sort, even if it’s de facto. This thing could work out!

I dont know what is up with walker, but with receivers like Toomer and Harrison out there why not just get rid of him. Even on Madden he sucks.

what a shame. Tom Cable will be fired after the season when Southwick lands in Minny and wins a Super Bowl

Ok I keep hearing certain people in here pump up Southwick. Am I missing something on this guy? Lol man its funny how this guy is the best thing since sliced bread and no one that I know of ever heard of this guy? What’s the deal someone please educate me on this guy. Oh and JW his carreer is over man his knees are shot what a freaking waste, instead of making it rain on people in vagas he should have made sure his knee was fine, id cut my losses with him, he’s the definition of a looser!

Real shame about Andrew Walter. I thought he was the real deal. Guess he never recovered from 2006 – not his fault that we had an Oline that forgot it was supposed to keep their QB upright.

Walter still holds many PAC10 records – he beat Elway in touchdowns. So sad that we couldn’t translate that talent to the NFL. Perhaps he will fly somewhere else?
