  • 24

  • 24

Fargas was starting AGAIN? Where’s the Commissioner???

  • 24

    Fake @$$ 24.

Rookie WR Nick Miller made a diving catch of QB JaMarcus Russell’s 60-yard pass. That’s the play of the day, and he’s an early candidate for camp surprise.

  • 24

Fake @ss 24, Why did you take the Huff off your name?

  • 24

Nick miller HOF. You heard it here first.

  • S&B5253

Good question on RDE. Guess the guy who wrote that missed it. Nice catch on that real or fake 24

  • 24

    Keep Kiffin!

    Who’s with me???

  • 24

My original name was Wo0dSoN24. Don’t get it twisted.

Damn he’s 5’9” and 180. He’s Eddie Royal size. If D. Hall was still on the team, Nick Miller would be a day 1 starter.

  • Destrilogy

Raiders coach Tom Cable on WR Nick Miller, the team’s smallest player at 5-9 and 180 pounds. “Nick came in as an undrafted free agent and has really kind of shined.”
    Aug 3 2009 | 9:54:02 pm
Raiders LC Chris Johnson finished last season as the starter, but he’s splitting time with Stanford Routt and the job is up for grabs. “It lit a fire under him,” RC Nnamdi Asomugha said.

    Patriots drop Gutierrez

Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on August 3, 2009 9:05 PM ET
The Patriots have confirmed the signing of Andrew Walter, a story broken by PFT’s fearless leader earlier this evening.

To make room for Walter, the team waived quarterback Matt Gutierrez.

Gutierrez made the Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2007, and there was some belief he was set to pass Matt Cassel on the depth chart last offseason.

That didn’t happen. Cassel is now a $63 million man, and Gutierrez is looking for work.

Josh McDaniels and Scott Pioli are two logical suitors; they are always willing to kick the tires on some Patriots castaways. (And Pioli has waiver preference over Denver.)

Cassel can be assured Gutierrez wouldn’t challenge him this time if they wound up teammates.

Farglass? LOL well more of the same when we run the ball on first down.

24, Warren is a UT. His pass rushing game is better than his game vs the run. He try to shoot the gap all the time and never really makes any big time plays vs the run. Sands is the only true Nose Tackle we have. This cannot go on and we expect to win the division.

  • Brien the General 510

Warren really does a great job at eating up space? Sands has been disappointing I know but he is in great shape like 2006 and plays the run better. What the hell is on people’s mind?

  • 24

Brien – Not that Warren is great at eating up space…in my mind…hes just been better than Sands.

  • Brien the General 510

At pass rushing he has but he isnt good verse the run. He isnt a nose tackle at all. Cant you see that? He is the reason why Kelly gets doubled for the most part. Kelly didnt see one on one as much as people think. Sands is in way better shape and we saw him play well when he was. His best vs Warren best at NT is a no brainer
