Oak–Brandon Myers 1-yard pass from Bruce Gradkowski (Ricky Schmitt kicks PAT), 4:33
Notes:
– The 49ers continued to run roughshod over the Raiders defenders. Michael Robinson gained 4 yards to the 2-yard line as the quarter ended. Robinson has 97 yards rushing, with Glen Coffee already in the books for 129.
– The 49ers decision to go for a 51-yard Joe Nedney field goal rather than take a shot at a getting a
first down paid divdends when Nedney missed and the Raiders went on an 8-play, 59-yard drive engineered by Gradkowski and Myers.
Myers caught a 36-yard strike for the biggest play in the drive and finished it off with a 1-yard score on a play-fake.
– Why did Kirk Morrison come out so quickly? He’s hurt. His left arm is in a sling.

Fix RDE and stop the penalties in the red zone. Those are the biggest issues that jumps out at me.
Other notes:
- Garcia just isn’t right for this offense.
- Brown may have de-thrown Morrison

This team is predicated on the offense putting up points and controlling the clock because its defense is built TO STOP THE PASS.
IF our team is ahead and controlling the clock, in theory, the D has the advantage because they will likely have to abandon the run at some point and throw against your strength.
