Grady Jackson is gonna save the Lions? The Steelers are panicked over the loss of Larry Foote? Kevin Smith are you kidding me? A rookie QB and a 2nd year RB are gonna fix everything for them. Good dialogue.
I by no means thought Rob R was a very good DC.

I just felt the talent gap on the line was so low relative to NFL standards that no DC would have been very effective. This preseason alone we were still the worst team against the run in the NFL.

Marshall is generally well respected and at least the team has now acknowledged the Dline issues. Good defense starts with solid Dline play.

Here is hoping Seymour shows up soon.

Funny thing growing up in Texas is that when national media says anything negative against the Cowboys or Longhorns they respond. With the Raiders I don’t see that. The Pats just cut Greg Lewis who was supposed to be a big pickup for them. No national media even noticed. I don’t buy that the Pats are perfect when it comes to their off-season. None of our players have been in trouble with the law this off-season, we resigned all of our potential free agents. we unloaded two players that either didn’t want to be here (Burgess) or going to be cut (Walter) and got draft picks. Look at all of the other AFC West teams they are dealing with legal problems (SD), injury problems (KC) or franchise meltdown (Den.). Time for the local’s to step up a little. Simple question who has had more negative press, Detroit 0-16 or the Raiders?
