DHB has played one game. How do you know he can’t make plays? San Diego sure thought he could make plays, so they doubled him because they didn’t want to find out. Eventually, teams are going to get tired of getting beat by the underneath WR and the TE and stop doubling DHB, then DHB will have to prove he can make a big play. Here’s hoping it’s this weekend.

*******
I think in close games, no team including San Diego last Monday, does not want to find out and take chances. All you really need is one big play to change the tide of the game and San Diego would rather allow us to March down the field and take their chances there as the clock winds. It seems to have paid off. One INT and a fumble to offset their own turnovers

You know something I noticed, and it may be nothing, but Louis Murphy didn't look like he kept either of the two balls he caught in the endzone.

I said he probably kept the first 'cause that was his real first TD in the league, but he didn't keep it or the second one either.

Now maybe the equipment guy did so, but most every case a rookie, or anyone, scores their first TD, they keep it. Sanchez certainly did.

What I'm getting at, and I'm sure you guys are already aware, Murphy came to play. I am extremely impressed with this kid. He looks very polished and not at all intimidated by the big boys or the big stage.

I understand DHB's current role (and frankly, think he'll expand it), but Murphy is going to mean a lot to the team. Brash, unafraid, gutsy.

I certainly like what I've seen from him so far. He's not concerned with sentimental stuff, he's out to play hard.

Terrapin Says:

Raidertay – Did you see the sky cam? NO! By your comment that sht is obvious. I know what I saw. You are just talking out of your azs and towing the blog line.

FACT: DHB is running by the corner, ZMiller is running on DHB’s side of the field, the safety just couldn’t risk it and followed DHB leaving a huge gap between him and Miller. ZMiller wide the fux open! Nobody within 10yds of him. JR passes deep to Miller for a 1st down. Thats what I saw and thats a FACT!

Crazy how that only worked a couple of times...with the great DHB on the field Miller should be wide open all the time and our offense should have scored more than 20 points!
