Raiders Win Was Worst Outing of JaMarcus’ Life
By JOE KUKURA
Updated 7:45 AM PDT, Tue, Sep 22, 2009
David White points out an unflattering statistic about Sunday’s 13-10 Raiders win over the Chiefs on his San Francisco Chronicle blog.
It wasn’t just the worst statistical performance of JaMarcus Russell’s Oakland Raiders career. It was the worst statistical performance of JaMarcus Russell’s entire life playing organized football at any level — high school, college or pro.
Russell had completed only three passes — three! — prior to the final two minutes of Sunday’s game. During one stretch, he threw 10 straight incomplete passes. If you started JaMarcus Russell this week on your fantasy team, then as your starting quarterback JaMarcus scored you all of 2.03 fantasy points.
But Russell never fumbled or threw an interception, so he was spared the infamy of a 0.0 quarterback rating. He earned a still-dismal 46.0 QB rating. There has not been a 0.0 rating in the NFL since Chris Redman earned one for the Atlanta Falcons in 2007.
Russell’s 29.2% completion rate Sunday on a nightmarish 7-for-24 performance was the worst completion percentage of Russell’s Raider career. His previous most-awful completion rate was 31.6% in last season’s 24-0 loss to the Falcons.
Going back to Russell’s college days at LSU, his worst performance was a 13-for-29 outing in a 2005 game against Arkansas. That game earned him only a 44.8% completion rate, but Russell still threw two touchdowns and won the game.
And he never had such a poor game in high school, where to this day Russell still holds the record for the most career passing yards for any Alabama high school quarterback.
But Russell deserves credit for somehow pulling that final touchdown drive out of his rear end and winning the game. He definitely helped the Raiders in the most important statistical category, the win-loss column.
Joe Kukura is a freelance writer who didn’t know until just now that Joseph Addai also played on those JaMarcus Russell-era LSU teams

JMac is only in his 2nd yr starting.
September 22nd, 2009 at 8:58 am
2nd year starting..3rd year in the league..
The running game is fierce and the defense is the best its been in 6yrs..
If he can’t produce now..he’ll never produce.
The raiders are doing exactly what the Jets are doing. There playing good defense and run run run the ball. Once in while pass the ball downfield. Whats the difference? Sanchez can actually complete a pass to an open receiver..where JRuss misfires.
Two teams..that can do the same things. Play defense and run the ball (great for success in the NFL). One team is 2-0 looking really strong. The other team 1-1 looking below average. Why? we all know..The Jets have a QB that can hit players that are open and has poise in the pocket. While JRuss is staring down receivers then wizzing the ball ten yards over their head!
This Raiders team can be very good..the problem is the QB sux!

i live near san diego about an hour east. it sure is quiet around here.
i made myself a promise i will be at every raider charger game untill we snap this streak.
monday night was my first game in oakland.
i will tell you this in san diego at least 30-40 percent of the crowd are raider fans i only remember seeing 3 people in oakland wearing raider jerseys.
if the team shows up in san diego they wll not be all alone like in kansas city they will have help from the crowd some teams need that.
that was a hostile crowd in kansas city and they won for that i will give them some credit. and i do really believe we will beat denver this week.

September 22nd, 2009 at 9:01 am
Alright fellas…we really need a victory against Denver.
I hope Cable is creating a sense of urgency with the players. I hate it when coaches say each game has the same importance. That’s BS.
Games within the division are twice as important when you consider the fact that a) not only do you get a win but also give a division opponent a loss, b) position yourself better for tiebreakers with teams in the division, and c) win tiebreakers with the team you defeat, essentially meaning that they have to beat your record by one win.
BEAT THE DONKEYS!!!

How many of you know Jay Schroeder?
How many of you saw him play?
He was given his reps and sucked…
Gannon? Given few reps and excelled.
Big Ben in Pittsburgh? His accuracy blew his first few years..
JRuss? Raiders don’t know yet…another Jeff George or a latent bloomer?
But he is not playing smoothly as he did last year…he looks stiff, robotish…
unsure if he is pressing to get it to just one player each play….but his eyes don’t look open…
This is football gents…it ain’t Madden, twitter, texting, or any other form of technology that is constantly updated…
JRuss is our starter.
Welcome to Raiders Football…enjoy the agaonizing beuaty of it.
September 22nd, 2009 at 9:18 am
So since JRuss isn’t going to step up to the plate(actually I think he needs to start leaving plates alone), the coaches need to be on his ass 24\7. Either Hacket, Tolner or cable need to move in with him. They need to watch his every move outside of work. They need to coach every aspect of his life at this point cause the kid just don’t get it. How many great QB’s do you see act like this kid? Great QB’s are leaders, they take the blame on their shoulders, do whatever has to be done, and live and breathe the game. I’ve tried to stay optimistic about the kid, but it’s getting almost impossible. And yes I do understand he has only started 19 games, but we see regression, not improvement. Hell at this point I would be happy to call him mediocre, but I think that would be giving him undue praise.
Anybody here ever lost a good amount of weight(20lbs or more)? For those that have, did you notice how much easier EVERY movement you make is? Even if you were just overweight and not obese, losing the weight made everything smoother, and it didnt feel like you were lumbering everywhere. Jruss would be able to handle his body so much better if he took of the weight, and I think his accuracy would double, then he could work on the mental part. But until he is in shape and accurate, the mental part is a moot point.

As well, another ball, that would have easily been returned for 6 went through another defenders hands, on a short out pattern.

A combination of the defense stacking the box due to the ineffectiveness of Russell and a patchwork o-line has not helped the run game.
Only a blind idiot wouldn’t be able to see that.

TELLING STAT: Every starting qb in the league has at least a 50% completion rate.
Every one.
Except one.
That other qb has a 35% completion rate.
Oh..and that “other” qb’s coach? Announced yesterday he sure would LIKE to be able to add some more plays to the playbook, indicating some need to spend more time studying, and learning their craft. Recently that “other” qb’s coach stated that up until this year, that “other” qb only could grasp 40% of the playbook, and that he’s hoping to add another 40% this year.
Above report indicates that other 40% is slow in coming.

Sure he can.
Question is “How many years will it take”?
September 22nd, 2009 at 9:48 am
RRS,
The question is can our defense, special teams, and running game lead us to 8-8. And the answer is OF COURSE!
Russell isn’t turning the ball over like he did last year. I see the defense getting even better as Morrison get healthy and Seymour get used to his teammates. Not to mention Shaugnessy and Bryant getting better each game.
8 wins can without question take this division, and 8 wins is right there for us. Donkeys twice, KC and SD will get us to 5 wins. Haven’t looked at the schedule, but I’m sure there are 3 more wins out there. Cowgirls are a lock.
Plus, I fully expect JRuss to return to the form he diplayed at the end of last year, and to an extent Monday night. Funny how they kept talking about Manning going to the WRs he trust in Clark and Wayne. And how his rookie WRs just weren’t coming through for him, until that last play of course. Only an idiot would say that Chaz won’t help JRuss. Chaz, Murphy, DHB, and Miller in the lineup with our running game will be at least a 17-24 pt per game offense.
And don’t let JRuss “find it” all of a sudden. No one will want to face us!

As I see it right now, possible 6 more wins, if we beat SD next time. If the offense doesn’t improve much, even those 6 games are no lock. No improvement on offense means our defense is going to be warn down by midseason, and that usually means people start getting hurt. If we play like we played against KC, another dbl digit loss season.

You’re rather humourous when you want to be, jHuh!
Loved the “OF COURSE WE CAN”..I stated that to my kids who wanted to know if I could fly..they rolled their eyes, pretty much like most raider posters here will upon reading that tripe.
Russell threw 4 BALLS THAT WERE HORRIBLE THROWS, THAT WENT IN AND OUT OF KC DEFENDERS HANDS..only a complete idiot would discount those by saying “doesn’t matter if a good defense would have held on to those, KC didn’t so let’s pretend they didn’t happen.
And the “HAVEN’T LOOKED AT THE SCHEDULE’?? LMAO..you lie. What a copout..but hey..for fun? You have a snowbal’s chance in hell of getting 7 more wins.
But hey..the good news? You’ll have lots of time to make up excuses on who to blame.
And that “And don’t let JRuss “find it” all of a sudden. No one will want to face us!”???
Besides LMFAO..I see you changed it. Before it was WHEN JR FINDS IT ALL EVERYONE WILL BE QUIVERING IN THEIR BOOTS..BUT now you’ve changed it to “if” status.?
Wise..always leave an out.
Oh..and yeah…I’m just SURE teams are worrying about that..as we speak.

Going into this season, who would have guessed that the DLine would be the strength of this team.
With the addition of two pro bowlers in Seymore and Ellis, Warren and Kelley are looking a lot better against the run no longer getting double teamed. Then putting in Bryant and Shaugnessy as reserves. Both of the Rooks look really impressive. Even Trevor Scott looks good in his new role.

To be honest based on our schedule, unless our offense drastically improves we win 5 games again this year.
We already have 1, we will win one of them against denver, the other against KC, we beat cleveland to make 4 and maybe and i mean mayb against CIN but after last weeks showing for them i dunno about that.
Dont get me wrong I want to see them win, but based on our schedule we dont win too many this year.

Is it too early to talk 2010 draft? I really like the youth movement on this team, but as I watch on Saturdays, I can’t help but notice players that might interest Al and Cable.
I know it would seem like a bad choice, considering our crowded backfield, but I have to believe that Al is looking at Jahvid Best real hard. 1. Track Star 2. Local kid from Oaktown 3. Runs behind the zone system put in place by our current line coach 4. potential Heisman candidate 5. Cal player. What’s not to like?
… I am thinking he aint coming out until 2011, but I am still excited about Jake Locker. We know, both Al and Cable seem to like the Washington players, and Al is a fan of Sarkisian. Would love to see the Raiders get Locker as an insurance policy against Russell.
…and finally the most obvious choice of all, if we are stuck in the top 10 again, I am almost certain that Al selects Taylor Mays if he is still there.
Anybody following any nasty RT’s that we might draft next year?
^^^^^^^I think 2011, the old man will look at Locker or possibly Jimmy Clausen as insurance for Russell. If we end up getting a 1st rounder that is!

Anyone else think the nfl officials are full of it regarding this issue? I still personally think Murphys td was a td but if this is the rule the nfl is sticking with then i dont see how these 2 plays were tds this past week
We pointed out last night that Raiders fans, in our view, now have the right to be up in arms regarding the decision from the Week One finale to wipe out a touchdown catch by Louis Murphy, which turned a seven-pointer into a three-pointer in a game decided by four points.
Specifically, in similar situations during Week Two, the Texans and the Panthers each got to keep a touchdown when, based on the letter of the rule that robbed the Raiders, it looked to us like they shouldn’t.
For the rest of the background, read our story (with links to the video of the plays) from last night.
So we asked the league to comment on the two plays — catches by Texans receiver Jacoby Jones and Panthers tight end Dante Rosario that were upheld via replay review. Here’s what the league had to say, per NFL spokesman Greg Aiello.
“On Rosario, he completed the catch, turned up field and stretched the ball over the goal line for a touchdown before he goes to the ground,” Aiello said via e-mail. “He didn’t use the ground to complete the catch. In the Oakland play, Murphy goes straight to the ground.
“On Jacoby Jones, he caught the ball, his knee hit the ground, and he maintained possession,” Aiello added. “Then the Titans player flipped him over the top and [Jones] hit the ground a second time and lost the ball. But it was already a touchdown by virtue of maintaining possession the first time he hit the ground.”
Sorry, but we have to disagree. In Rosario’s case, he pushed the ball over the goal line while going to the ground. So, under the rule that nullified Murphy’s touchdown, Rosario should have been required to maintain possession of the ball, once he landed on the ground. Clearly, he didn’t.
As to Jones, the only difference was that, before Jones could naturally land on the ground, he was flipped and tossed to the ground by the Tennessee defender. But, in our view, Jones was still in the act of going to the ground. So he needed to keep possession until he landed on the ground. Clearly, he didn’t.
Bottom line? This gap in the rule and the interpretation of it needs to be addressed and resolved, quickly. In the perception of this neutral third party who if anything is naturally inclined to support the league’s position on things of this nature, either the Murphy call was wrong, or the calls from Sunday were wrong.
But there’s no way that all three calls were right
September 22nd, 2009 at 10:37 am
I agree the running game is not doing well, and I am not buying the excuse that it is because they are stacking the box every play. That Miami game last night was a perfect example of a team that could get it done on the ground despite the box being stacked. When Miami ran the Wildcat, nobody on Indy believed that there was going to be a throw, and yet they got huge chunks of yardage (when Brown was under center, not White). Cable, Michalczak, et. al. have not done enought in the off-season to get the running game going. They are uber-focused on transforming Russell into a timing QB, but that is not his game or the strength of this team. We NEED to get back to power running: re-energize the big uglies up front, rest our defense, instill confidence in our offense and set-up play action all day for JR.

Jerry’s blog loses all consistency and accuracy at around the same time that Russell loses his. This occurred at the same time Jerry started getting free cheesburgers from McDonalds.
McDonalds has reported a severe spike in cheeseburger consumption in the Bay area.
Coincidence?
I think not.

Rewatching the game last night. Lechler was amazing. I like Hailey’s comment saying I didnt know people can punt that far…lol
Also the punt coverage units were great. Essentially they have about 6 seconds to run 60+ yards and make the tackle. Thats really impressive.

I think we might see our first game with some real blitzing. I don’t think Marshall will be too worried about Orton. BSPN did a pretty good illustration the Jets pressuring Brady into throws 1.8 seconds after the snap. WRs don’t have time to get into a route, and you just have to worry about the underneath stuff. Cmon Marshall, let’s get after Orton. Let the defense win the game with a couple of scores!
September 22nd, 2009 at 10:59 am
Fugg the refs!
I mean how many of us really expected that call to not be over turned? If there is ANY reason, most likely we won’t get the call.
Just don’t give them a reason. Hold on to the damn ball Murphy!

Possesion 3 yards deep in the endzone, two hands, control, one foot, two feet, rear, elbow, wrist….then Murphy gets up to celebrate his first ever NFL TD and it slips out?
That’s the Al Davis rule in effect. Think the Nation is paranoid, all you need do is look at Sunday’s catches as well as a Jeremy Shockey TD and one of Ben Watson’s TDs last Monday.

KC confused Russell by shutting down his favorite target, Miller. Russell is not going to be a hall of famer.
=================================================
You can’t say that. Steve Young at the same point in his career was very similar to Russell in the fact that NFL people really questioned his accuracy and decision making and thought he was just a running back who thought he was a QB. People think the same thing about Vick.
The issue with Russell right now from my perspective is he does not have trust in his offensive team mates. He certainly does not trust his offensive linemen, and his trust in his wide receivers is EXTREMELY suspect.
Mistabrown Says:
September 21st, 2009 at 11:04 am
I heard it ALL now! Russell doesn’t “TRUST” his mates so he sails the ball over their head or clunks it off the hands of Db’s.
Beautiful take Oakglen! What a genius perspective…lmao

Of course you don’t get it. No one expects you to get it. But then, you never played the game or have ever been around the game and In fact you don’t get global warming even tho the polar icecaps are melting all around your feet.
Hey Mistabrown how’s Brady Quinn doing?? He’s your guy.

1) You are a married man with kids, yet you spend your day posting as “Ricochet” on a Raider blog. Very similar to Butters running around South Park calling himself Professor Chaos.
2) You pound more candy in one day then your lovely children do on a routine Halloween. Now we all know you are more crazed and amped up than a pack of wakeboarders at the X Games, but is this a good example to be setting? Answer that after you finish beer bonging your Red Bull.
So in summary, you’re a grown man wacked out on sugar getting owned daily on a Raider blog where you think you’re a child superhero.

I know I’m comparing apples and sausages. But to you all you Russel backers out there who say “the receivers are young..the running backs are young..thats why he looks so bad”
Well Peyton manning played and won last night with 2 starting rookie wide receivers and a rookie RB. They didn’t seem to have any problems. And yes Dallas Clark is a veteran..but if Zach Miller had a good QB like Manning, I’m positive he would have monster games too.
Bottom line..Manning can play with rookies and succeed. JRuss plays with rookies and looks like the worst QB ever under center.
I know its apples and sausages. But I hate all these excuses for Russel, when a good QB succeeds no matter what the issues!
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
uh-huh…
try finding a QB who isn’t Manning, Brady, Brees or some other all-pro to make your poiint…
September 22nd, 2009 at 11:27 am
J-Russ will be alright. The coaches need him to harness that mindset he goes into at the end of these games and start the game that way. It’s really a mental problem.
He has been brought up in this league not to make a mistake. Don’t throw a pick. Just play it safe. So instead of sticking passes in there in the tight windows that are available in the NFL, he throws balls out of bounds. When a guy is open, he still throws with the worry about making a mistake and it creates errant passes. But at the end of the game, when a mistake doesn’t matter because you’re already down and it’s either make the big-time throw or lose, he becomes a totally different QB. If Cable and Hackett can change his mindset early in the game, we could see a dramatic and sudden transformation.
I was thinking about this team:
D-Line: Very talented and deep with a formidable starting 4 and Trevor Scott and Shaughnessy coming off the bench and providing pressure.
LBs: Athletic. T-Howard is an incredible athlete. Morrison is making plays. Brown is serviceable. Historically poor vs. the run but showing great improvement in 2009. An above average group.
Secondary: Nnamdi and CJ are possibly the best CB combo in the league right now. Branch, Eugene and now Huff are all good players capable of making great plays. One of the best secondaries in the league.
Running back: One of the best trios in the league.
Wide receivers: Young and inexperienced but very athletic. The return of Chaz Schilens will offer a dramatic boost.
Tight end: One of the best in the league.
O-Line: No star power but a pretty good group that is well coached. Mario Henderson has been tremendous. Green has at least 1 penalty per game but is a good run blocker and good enough pass blocker. This group can get it done and on occasion, dominate.
Special teams: Excellent punter, kicker, long-snapper and return man (JLH). Fantastic kick coverage. Possibly the best special teams group in the league.
That all sounds like a team that can go far into the playoffs to me. But it all comes back to the most important position on the field — Quarterback. The way the defense is playing right now and the way we know we can run the ball, this team would be a Super Bowl contender with one of the league’s elite QBs. Unfortunately, those guys don’t come easy. You have to develop them. We need JaMarcus to become what he is absolutely capable of becoming — an elite NFL QB.

8-8 might win the division again.
is anybody confident Russell can lead us to 8 wins?
I’m not a hater, just a realist. somebody please give me an honest answer. no excuses.
———————————-
I think he can do 8-8 and even better. Not if he plays like he did for the first 57 minutes of the Chiefs game, no. But if he plays like he did at the end of last year. Like he did in the preseason. Like he did on the final drive of each of the last two games where he led the Raiders to late go-ahead TDs, then yes. Absolutely.
He had a horribly off-day vs. KC. There’s no way around that. But we did still win, so it’s not all bad. You can’t isolate that one game and judge him as a QB.
I believe he’ll play much better from now on.
If he continued to play anything like he did through most of the KC game, he will get the hook. They want to be patient and let him develop, but if he played that bad for the next 2-3 games I think he’s gone and one of the backups is in.
Huge game for this team vs. Denver this week. Winner is at least tied atop the wide-open AFC West. Loser is behind with a lot of tough games vs. the NFC East and AFC North still ahead.

good point on the QB situation. Since our last great team we have had:
2003: Gannon/Mirer (4-12)
2004: Gannon/Collins (5-11)
2005: Collins (4-12)
2006: Brooks/Walter (2-14)
2007: McCown/Culpepper/Russell (4-12)
2008: Russell (5-11)
2009: Russell (?)
September 22nd, 2009 at 11:43 am
The issue with Russell is the same issue Chad Shilens had at the beginning of the year last year, and the same issue a lot of young players have: they are out there thinking, not playing. Once they can just play the game, something they have done their entire lives, they are all right. That’s why Russell does well late in games. All of sudden, he’s just playing football, something he’s vbeen good at his whole life.

As to Morris…other than allowing that sack against Russell in the SD game, he hasn’t had anything blatant…but I haven’t stopped to watch him specifically. I am usually too worked up about Russell to pay attention to Morris.
But, a line with Morris, Green, Satele and Cooper isn’t going to scare anyone…do you guys really blame Bush and McFadden for not having 100 yard games running behind those scrubs and with a QB completing 35% of his passes?

I know he will. He was ready for KC- I don’t know what the issue was with his as far as throwing but he definitely said he was ready. Watched film all day Monday on his off day. I told him to watch some Cardnials film because of Haley’s ties to AZ and their defensive scheme- he already had the cut ups. That’s why it always trips me out when people question his work ethic. Of course, you can always do more because in the NFL you have to outwork the next person. He will get better- had the same issues at LSU- he got better over time and before long, they were in the Sugar Bowl pummeling ND. Don’t want t predict SB but with the youth on this team, if they get it together and get the right breaks- like TDs that are TDs and not overturned, they will be hell to deal with in the years to come. Consistency is the only thing that is missing. I hope that Cable is here for a while because that revolving door concept wreaks havoc on a team.

The only BS alert is from your posts. It’s not improbable or impossible buddy- this is not a vacuum you know. It’s the internet. Since I don’t have time for kids games, I’ll let you have your fun
0-0————————————
Come on man, you come onto and Internet blog and make comments that you speak with JaMarcus, and that you told him to watch AZ tape because of Todd Haley. LMFAO. WTF, and we are supposed to believe you?
Look, I hang out with McFadden every day, we are boys, we go to lunch, and I cut his tapes for him to DVD and we go over tape every night. Then we get some food, get our drink on with the ladies, then chill. It’s cool. Nothing is impossible right?

————
Oh man…that was funny.
No, not that stupid “I told him to check out Az tapes”..that was actually pathetic..(dude, the fact you come on a blog to state that means you’re full of crap. See, anyone who hangs out with someone who’s a public figure NEVER GOES ON A BLOG to state ‘oh hey, he/she and I were kicking it, and I suggested so and so’..NEVER HAPPENS..that’s for the little insecure kids who are so hoping for a pat on the head..
You know..like “16..I’m 16..on my birthday I’m going to be 17″
No..the funny part was “Russell was ready for KC” Yes, LMFAO…where you followed it up with ‘don’t know what the problem was with KC, but he was definitely ready”?
READY FOR WHAT? THE BUFFET LINE? He’s always ready for the buffet line..as far as KC? WAS RUSSELL’S WORST PERFORMANCE OF HIS LIFE..
Why say stupid crap on a blog?
I know, I know..now is when you beg me to stop picking in you..exactly what kids do..but that wasn’t the point.
Point was you set yourself up with the stupid “I told him”..and you just shot yourself in the ass with the “He was ready”.
Talk about “Here I am…watch me CRASH AND BURN”??
You do it so well.
Congrats.
Hope you stay around..that was some funny shyte.

And then you state you called him today? AND YOU JUST HAPPENED TO GLOSS OVER HIS TOTAL CRAP PLAY?
How come, if HE WAS SO READY TO PLAY, after you..you know..suggested to him what to do to get ready..did he not share with you WHY HE HAD HIS WORST GAME EVER?

Looking at that last series JR had all freakin day to throw the ball. Im not sure if that was a credit to Satele or the KC DLine was winded.
Morris and Satele are pretty good pass blockers. I think Gallery hurt will make them a better pass blocking team but a worse running team.

Did someone just say Krappy is living up to his name and is pretty “cool”?
Dude, what exactly is your definition of cool? If it’s a 72 year old senile old goat crapping his diapers 3-8 times a day, roasting his head in his own microwave and then wandering pantless through his neighborhood Arby’s drive thru, then I guess Krappy really is the 2009 model Fonz.
I know you’re new on the blog so I don’t want to roast you too bad, but Krappy is about as cool as paying full price for a value meal. That’s 85 cents you’ll never have back.

I guess I am because I dont remember a single pro bowl that Gallery has been to. What a dip schit. I guess he went to the Pro bowl because Steve Cockran told you. Did you see the last drive. That was the most time JR had all freakin day. Dude literally went through his progressions twice.

Whatever happened to getting Darren McFadden the ball in open space so he could burn his speed?
McFadden ran 12 times for 35 yards at 2.9 yards per carry. His 5-yard winning pitch around the left corner? That was just the third time he ran the ball outside the edge. he gained 15 yards on those three carries, and just 20 on the nine inside rushes.
Three times, he went in motion to wideout. They didn’t throw to him once, including the time fullback Oren O’Neal rushed for 9 yards up the middle.
Play-caller Tom Cable rarely utilized McFadden last season once his turf toe was better. He has yet to do it this season. If it’s a pound-between-the-tackles running back they want, they may as well feature Michael Bush and let McFadden do his work in the open space
————-
Jhill I agree completely with all of that, its pretty easy to determine what they are going to do on offense and that needs to stop right away.
Watching the game last night no matter what formation Miami was in, you can’t tell what they are going to run.

Cable mentioned about the backs taking the wrong reads.then Romanowski explained what the coach was saying.he explained that on every run the RB makes a read to take it off tackle or up the gut.he explained that after watching over and over ,our backs were constantly making the wrong read.they aren’t letting the play develop in front of them(actually,as much as most hate to admit it,imo, that is why the staff like Fargas),they aren’t waiting for their blockers toset the play up.also,we did try to throw screenS to Mac-they were either batted down or fell to his feet.

If Lane was staying these rumors would have been addressed via a press conference ala Rob Ryan’s press conference.

Al Davis is a very forgiving person. I am sure that the minute he found out about Kiffin looking into college jobs he straightened it up with Kiffin right away and now all is well. I am sure that the Rob Ryan endorsement and lack thereof for kiffin really means nothing and the media and fans are just jumping to conclusions. I mean really, Al Davis is a very nice person that never holds a grudge right? Al Davis would never make a lame duck coach interview his successor, or be spiteful enough to exclude a coach from participating in team meetings. Al Davis is a great man and his only agenda is making the Raiders win. He would never bench a player over money issues. He would never jettison a coach over draft and personnel issues. He would never abandon a city; he is loyal and simply demands loyalty in return. He only resorts to the justice system when absolutely necessary. It is obvious that the media paints a completely untrue picture of this man. Given his record as such a great man, we all should give Al Davis the benefit of the doubt on this matter. All is well in the Raider world.

I think they should do a Dirty Jobs inside the Raiders HQ.
____________________________________________________
I can see it now:
Mike Rowe: I am here today at the headquarters of the Oakland Raiders and with me is John Herrera. John, I hear you have a dirty job for me?
John: Yeah, you could say that Mike. Come with me into Al Davis’ office.
John: Mr. Davis, I am here with Mike Rowe of the Discovery Channel show Dirty Jobs, do you remember me telling you about this?
Davis: What? No, does it have something to do with Marcus Allen?
John: No Mr. Davis, he is just going to help me change your diaper and wring out the Sham Wow we put on your lap.
Davis: Whatever. Did you have that Kawakami killed yet, I am so…
John: Mr. Davis, please, we can talk about that later!
Davis: Oh, alright. Go ahead.
Mike Rowe: Okay John what is the first step, and should I wear protection?
John: Here are the latex gloves we use and I would suggest stripping down to your undershirt and underwear.
Mike Rowe: Why on Earth do I have to strip down to my undershirt and underwear?
John: Just do it Mike, Mr. Davis likes it that way, so that is the way it is done! What, are you afraid or something? Are you a smoke pot, smoke pot….do you know Tim Kawakami?
Mike Rowe: What? Yeah I smoke pot, but I don’t know any Kawakami’s. Come on let’s just get on with this.
John: Okay, first you need to get him up on the desk.
Mike Rowe: Okay Mr. Davis, here we go! Wow, you are pretty light…kind of like lifting a bag of bones.
Al Davis: I can still kick your azz you little…
John: Okay, okay, lets just get on with this….here is a shovel, you might need it; he ate some prunes last night.
Mike Rowe: Thanks, I think. Okay, let’s get this jumpsuit off of you….okay, wow…what a mess. How much do they pay you to do this type of work John?
John: $35 dollars a day…no vacation, but I love it!
Mike Rowe: Should I have a respirator or something?
John: No, this is all natural, but watch your eyes and close your mouth, sometimes he sharts.
Mike Rowe: Okay, he is changed, where do I put this dirty diaper?
John: We have a laundry shoot that runs directly into Lance Kiffin’s office.
Mike Rowe: Oh man, what did he do to deserve to get that poop storm every couple of hours?
John: Long story Mike, and frankly, I am not all that sure as to the reasons, but Mr. Davis wants it that way, so it will be that way.
Mike Rowe: Okay, now where do I wring out this Sham Wow?
John: Oh, um I forgot to call in my assistant. Someone get me Mike Taylor, pronto!
Taylor: Here I am John, sorry I am late, please don’t hit me….I brought the bucket.
Mike Rowe: So after I wring out this Sham Wow…which is surprisingly wet for being on top of a jump suit and a diaper…what is all of this?
John: Well, it catches a little leakage from Little Al, but also some drool too.
Mike Rowe: Little Al? Oh, okay, I see. Well, it is wrung out, now what do I do?
John: Shine Mr. Davis’ sho3s with it.
Mike Rowe: What? Shine his sho3s with it, are you insane?
John: I might be, I have worked here a long time.
Mike Rowe: Alright, whatever, I just need to get out of here.
Mike Rowe: Thanks everyone for watching another episode of dirty jobs. I am running out of ideas, so please, call us with your ideas, and we might just end up helping you with a dirty job!

^^^^^^^I don’t if you know JMarc personally, but if you do….tell him to loosen up and start having more fun and use his feet more and step into every throw.
Tell him to play with more of a sense of urgency and energy and confidence!

But..what you are is..in fact..a liar.
If not..explain your two comments.
1. I have NO IDEA what went wrong against KC
then after I asked why you didn’t know..you replied:
2. I do know, but why should I tell you?
So..one’s a lie, is it not?
Both from you, was it not?
You’re a liar, are you not?
And..YOU’RE A CROSSPOSTER..which is obvious to all.
Who in the hell knows everything about everyone..then states “Oh..uh..gosh..well..I’ve been READING EVERYTHING for a year..just NOW posted”
Three lies..means you’ve struck out, dude.
Quick..give everyone another lie..oh..and the obligatory “I don’t want to answer” whine.

227. EXACTLY!

“McFadden was misused all day as a decoy out wide and as a battering ram between the tackles where he gained very little yards.”
^^^^^^^Thats why I’m saying the WILDCAT needs to be implemented this next game to keep the Donks defense of balance. DMC is one of the best WILDCAT backs in the game and it’s time Cable and Tollner UNLEASHED DMC and ran him wide off tackle…split him in the slot and get him the freakin ball!
