Raiders-Broncos blacked out

By Jerry McDonald - NFL Writer
Thursday, September 24th, 2009 at 1:08 pm in Oakland Raiders.

The Raiders-Broncos game did not sell out by today’s 1:05 p.m. deadline and will not be televised locally.

Having the second game of the season blacked out against a division rival is not a good sign.

Over the past three years, the Raiders have had just two blackouts each season along with 18 sellouts. The Broncos game has been on TV in all three of those years.

  28. BlackHole Says:

Don’t worry about the game being blacked out. Here’s the first 3 drive just in case:

Raiders ball on the 20…..DMC 2 yard run inside
Raiders with the ball on the 22….DMC run to the outside for a gain of 3
On 3rd on 5…Russell drop back to pass and a wide open Murphy….too high…..incomplete pass
    Punt 60 yards…..3 and out.

2nd and 3rd possessions are pretty much the same…..3 and outs…Russell missing open receivers…too high….behind the receivers but it’s not his fault the receivers are not where their supposed to be when he looks up….

Can one of the tech geniuses on here tell me how I can watch the game on my computer, live stream or however? Step by step please, I am far from anything close to computer savvy. Thanks.

The only thing that sucks harder than the raiders are they’re fans! You couldn’t pay me to take a dump in that hole of a stadium.

  32. itzSteve Says:

For those of you who still want to tape the game, it should be aired locally, just later on in the evening.

  33. BornInOakland Says:

TWO Tickets, 3rd deck, $128, and then the Raiders give you a $100 gift card to Lucky’s. See the Raiders website for info.
So my wife and I are going to the game for $28 and can then get $100 of groceries at Lucky’s where we shop anyway. Can’t beat that. I’ll be there. GO RAIDERS!!!!!!

  34. BornInOakland Says:

Skdzntz: We eat little pansies like you for lunch. You know you’d love to go, but you won’t get your little whiner hair messed up. Another closet Raider fan, posting here so he can feel like he’s part of it. Why else would you be here?

Then they will have to plant a video camera in front of their computer screen while watching a rerun on nfl.com because it will not at all be on TV later in the evening.

I got in on the same deal. The seats aren’t great but not bad for $14 each after the gift card.
