Rankin released to add Holland

The Raiders released running back Louis Rankin to make room for Jonathan Holland, who was elevated from the practice squad to return kickoffs today and be an extra defensive back.
Don’t be surprised if Rankin is back on the practice squad if he clears waivers.

Bring on the trick plays today, and tackle well on D. Broncos won’t be able to run the ball, will go Shotgun 4 wide with short passes a lot. Like what the Pats did to us last year.
Look at those Browns and that great DC Rob Ryan. Worst ranked Defense in the league by the end of the year, book it.

I highly doubt Rankin gets picked up. The guy isn’t even in the top 50 in KO returns.
Maybe the Steelers grab him, but my money is on him on the PS come Tuesday practice.

When Collins was here was when the defense fell of the table. I think he did a decent job throwing the ball, but the defense and the running game didn’t give him much chance of success.
