Sunday inactives _ no third QB

By Jerry McDonald - NFL Writer
Sunday, October 18th, 2009 at 12:23 pm in Oakland Raiders.

This week’s inactive list:

Raiders
RB Darren McFadden
FB Luke Lawton
LB Ricky Brown
T Langston Walker
T Cornell Green
G Robert Gallery
WR Chaz Schilens
WR Nick Miller

Eagles

WR Brandon Gibson
CB Dimitri Patterson
LB Joe Mays
G Mike McGlynn
G-T Todd Hermans
WR Kevin Curtis
DE Jason Babin
QB Kevin Kolb (third QB)

Notes: No third quarterback for the Raiders. Maybe because they need a backup in case they take out JaMarcus Russell? More likely everyone else on the Raiders inactive list is legitimtately injured or not ready to play (Lansgston Walker) . . . Kolb as third quarterback means the Raiders could get a heavy dose of Michael Vick should the game get one-sided. You know, like if the Raiders run up a big lead . . . if there were any animal protests in the parking lot in the limited area from the media lot to the media entrance, I didn’t see them.

Yea, like if The Raider run up a big lead they’ll probably put in Vick to get him some experience.

Last week they took The Raiders game off at half time because it was a blowout. This week they are making me watch the end of a blowout game before they will cut away to The Raider’s game. At least I don’t have to worry about overtime.
