Satele was better sunday than he has shown since the trade. According to Cable at the presser that was his best game physically and also on the line calls during the game.
I watched him for a few plays during sunday’s game. He was physical and quick. He handled the time I saw him Bunkley and Trevor Laws with ease.
Let’s hope he gets better.

Yeah Satele did look pretty good. Better than Morris for damn sure. He needs to keep it up these next two before the bye. Both SD and NYJ dont have their big nose tackles for their 3-4 defense. He has struggled with those guys and luckily doesnt face them.

Just got back. MR, show me where I said Marcus was smashed. I’m not backtracking, just never said it. I gave a list of players that went out partying on Bourbon Street after curfew and bedcheck. Did not check what was in their Hurricane glasses but know for a fact that they were all out carousing when they were supposed to be sleeping. Many acted ineubriated but whose to give them a blood test. It was a great night and I sure hurt in the morning. Not every statement has to be a fight. And living in L.A., there were many rumors about Marcus and drug use during his affair with Nicole. Take it or leave it, I don’t really give a dump.

Just got back. MR, show me where I said Marcus was smashed. I’m not backtracking, just never said it. I gave a list of players that went out partying on Bourbon Street after curfew and bedcheck. Facts still are that Farglass isnt the best RB on the team. That was the first game they gave a guy 20 plus carries and if not for the end of the half gimme 20 yard Farglass got he was 22 carries for 67 yards. Not impressive at all.
How many weeks are we gonna win with him getting 20 plus carries? Thank you my friend. Farglass will do nada this week against the jets like last year. There’s word coming out of Oakland that John Marshall will be fired as defensive co-ordinator. Irreconcilable differences between him and Davis. Cue the “being yelled at for blitzing” comments. Something that probably shouldn’t be said publicly. But shows him and Davis have fighting over the defensive schemes week in and week out and Marshall frustrated by Al’s tyranny.

Marshall finally gets his nut sac back and mixes it up with stunts, 3-4 zone blitz packages, gap blitzes that confuse the hell out the Eagles offense and get them off their timing in the passing game and the defense has their best defensive effort and showing this season and the team WINS!
Now the old man idiotic man is mad about it??

And I respect your opinion. It’s really a lot easier to agree with yours at this point in time.
Spreading blame (like dropped balls) is kind of like blaming the refs for poor (or no-)calls. It’s lame and the game can be won anyway.
He did look a lot better given a chance to complete passes in a credible offensive scheme.
He can make passes very few QBs can.
He got the job done vs. SD. Got it done in KC. Got it done vs. the Eagles. Now I realize the record is 2-4, but its possible this galvanizes the team and Russell specifically.
I’m just not ready to call him a bust. There’s too much talent there. It needs to be cultivated and I think Cable is right to leave him in with the rookies.
Growing pains can give way to good football.
If he busts, congrats, you’re right. What’s the alternative?
Start over again? Draft another one. Get a vet? Start Gradkowski?
I’d prefer to let the season pan out with him at QB.

For those of you that dont what Bayfair Mall is………….its the mall right across the street from Ricky’s Sports Bar in San Leandro. Also it across from Chili’s where Raider and even some 49er players constantly go to. Russell and his entourage are seen by the Bayfair area alot. Also JLH.
