Brien the Grand Guru Says:
Effective? Hell Farglass is non existent there! Uh yes I can name better performances by Bush and Dmac in game, we just tried to force the issue with Russell too much when we could have killed them that first half by running it down their throats.

Next!
===================================================
Fargas plays harder, therefore he is more likely to get banged up...how about Fargas, then Bush in the red zone?

# LA to TheBay Says:
October 23rd, 2009 at 1:02 pm

I won’t argue that Fargas is not effective in the red zone, however the team in general is not particularly effective there either. My point was, compare the stats, since you place value in them.

Even without the red zone TDs, would you argue that another Raider running back has had a better performance this year?

The stats are all similar, almost identical. They’re all under 4 a carry and Fargas hasn’t fumbled. When he got the nod, the team won.

"No no no my little lost subject talk about Farglass in the red zone. It will please the GURU"

Why?

I'm talking about overall play and more importantly, leadership.

New Post, BTW.

He's not going to get the nod this week either if bush is healthy....Bush is the better back plain and simple...If you can't see that then you have a really bad eye for talent. Bigger, Stronger, Faster, with better vision.

I believe McFadden fumbled in one of his red zone attempts, and coughed the ball up in a critical time in the game vs. Denver.

# LA to TheBay Says:

“Farglass has been a leader? Oh yeah so how was he leading all these losing ass years? Farglass has been here since the super bow hangover. Please explain”

As if a leader and a good player never played on a poor team?

Come on, Brien.

There’s 200 posters in here that will tell you why the team sucked the last 6+ years and it rhymes with “Hal Mavis.”

Here, since you respond to stats:

-Fargas has lost 4 fumbles in his career. DMC could do that in a game, the way he’s been looking lately.
-Fargas ran for 1,009 yards starting 7 games
-Fargas was the leading rusher the past 3 seasons
-Fargas has more experience than Bush and McFadden combined
-Fargas is a leader and team captain
-Fargas was selected by his teammates as team MVP (shared one year with Aso) by winning Commitment to Excellence award in consecutive years.
-Led the Cable Bumaye chant. The whole team, not surprisingly, followed suit.
