oakglenn, that’s not my point. I know it’s in the constitution. My point was, if you can pay attention this time around: When is the last time you’ve seen a DA decline to press charges when the suspect refuses to talk?

    No corraborating witnesses? No case.

    He said, she said.

Reminds me of the scene in Tombstone where Kurt Russell explains why Curly Bill wasn’t charged with Ole Fred’s murder.

“Can’t have a murder with out a witness!”

    Case dismissed, moving on…

Pick it up and keep the intensity for 4 quarters like U did last week and we’ll be fine…

Want to see Oakland keep improving on last weeks running game especially with Jenkins out for the Jets.

MR current heroes, Lane Kiffin and Randy Hanson. They have lost the battle to condemn the Raider Organization forever.

It must be sad to see MR cry right now, let’s all give him a group hug.

MR why don’t you sign up for a Facebook site and have Kiffin and Hansen as your only buddys.

    Nnamdi,

You have a heated altercation, which the DA said he believed took place.

Hospital records proving the alleged victim’s jaw was broken.

The cherry on top: A suspect standing mute!!! (DA talked about Hanson’s testimony being shady, in the world of law enforcement, suspects that plead the 5th are guilty as sin!).

    Yet, no charges.

Napa didn’t want to risk losing the Raiders’ TC. But think what you want, dude. There’ll be plenty more incidents like this that will come out of the NFL’s freak show, the Oakland Raiders.

The question is when do the apologys start from the local media and national media. Those chumps will hide behind their typical “I hope no remembers what I said”

I do and the e-mail will begin tomorrow, and I won’t stop until you reply to the Raider Organization.

  • Brien the Grand Guru

Dell actually he had two songs for Garbage-cia
    This is the first

MR’s new lyrics of Rick Springfield’s early 80s hit

    Jeffrey is a friend,
Yeah I know he’s been a good friend of mine
    But lately something’s changed
    It ain’t hard to define
    Jeffrey’s got himself a girl
And I want to make him mine
And he’s watching him with those eyes
And he’s lovin’ her with that body, I just know it!
And she’s holding him in her arms late, late at night

You know I wish that I was Jeffrey’s girl
    I wish that I had Jeffrey’s girl
Where can I find her, a QB like that?

I’ll play along with this charade
That doesn’t seem to be a reason to change
You know I feel so dirty when they start talking cute
I wanna tell him that I love but the point is probably moot
‘Cause he’s watching her with those eyes
And he’s lovin’ her with that body, I just know it!
And she’s holding him in her arms late, late at night

You know I wish that I was Jessie’s girl
    I wish that I was Jessie’s girl
Where can I find him, a Qb like that?

    Like Jeff Garbage-cia
    I wish that I was Jeffrey’s girl
    Where can I find him, a Qb…
Where can I find him, a Qb like that?

And I’m lookin’ in the mirror all the time
Wonderin’ what he don’t see in me
I’ve been funny; I’ve been cool with the lines
Ain’t that the way love’s supposed to be?
Tell me why can’t I find a Qb like that?

You know I wish that I was Jeffrey’s girl
    I wish that I was Jeffrey’s girl
Where can I find him, a Qb like that?

    Like Jeff Garbage-cia
    I wish that I had Jeffrey’s girl
    I want, I want Jeff Garbage-cia

Dell, what should anyone apologize for? This DA should be investigated. What the media saw today was the most obvious example ever of a DA’s office playing politics. No apology is in order for those who believe Cable did this, and spoke their mind. Ever.

Dell here goes song number two

MR’s late night Quiet Storm radio dedication to Garbage-cia

    Jeff, I love you so
    I want you to know
that I’m going to miss your throws
the minute you walk out that door

    so please don’t go
    don’t gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, don’t go away
    please don’t go
don’t goooooooooooooooooooooooooo, I’m begging you to stay

If you live, at least in my life time
I had one dream come true
I was blessed to be led
by a QB as wonderful as you

    Hey hey hey
    I need your underthrows
    I’m down on my knees
    beggin’ please please
    please don’t go
    don’t you hear me baby
    don’t leave me now
oh no no no don’t go

    MR

You have to be the most interesting individual who takes sides, when the result is based in favor of the Raiders you go into the political mode, and if the problem or issue is against the Raiders it’s all good, due to Davis, which is always his fault.

You have played your hand, and fall on to the side of anything against the Raiders is great, “BUT WHEN THE CHIPS FALL” away from them, it’s politics or some other bull crap excuse you can think of.

Just once, use your head, stop trying to get a reaction and looking like a fool. Spare us your knowledge of how much you know of law, which is very little.

It takes a real person to man up and apologize, I guess you were never taught that behavior.

    Black Cat,

That wasn’t my point. I appreciate our 5th amendment right. But try and pay attention here, as you’ve obviously missed my point.

The point I’m making is: When does the DA ever drop charges when the suspect stands mute?

    Answer: NEVER.

    That’s all.

Read: I support the US constitution.

    Again, I support the constitution.

    Answer: NEVER.

    ————

First, there were no “charges” filed by the DA, so there were none to drop. Second, they didn’t press charges because they didn’t think a Jury would convict because of conflicting evidence. They never said that they didn’t file charges because Cable was mute (and they would never say something like that, because that is unconstitutional).

What you’re saying is that the DA didn’t file charges because Cable was mute: “When does the DA ever drop charges when the suspect stands mute?” Your words, not mine. So either you didn’t read the DA statement thoroughly, didn’t comprehend it, or just often find yourself falling trap to the “Post hoc ergo propter hoc” logic fallacy (that’s what you just did in your post, in case you really wanted to know).

Please try to understand how the system works better. One day you might be on a jury…

    That is all.

I keep forgetting that when you’re talking to Raider fans, you have to slow it down a little, and pretend you’re talking to 5th graders. I’m sorry, but it’s the truth. But when you’re dealing with people who have short attention spans and haven’t read anything in their lives other than a sports page, unfortunately it’s just an obstacle that must be met.

So basically Hanson tried to straddle the fence, but ultimately didn’t, and put all his eggs in the wrong basket. He should have just shut his mouth and accepted whatever low-level job and pay he would have gotten. Instead, he want back-and-forth, and screwed up the investigative process, lost his job and case, and his civil case was just dealt a deathblow as the DA basically provided ample ammo for the defense in a potential civil trial.

    He who hesitates, masturbates.

    Sucks for you Johnny!!!

Who are you loyal to? Your union, your friends, your parents.

Loyalty is earned and not given, it something like having earned respect.

I have never cared if you hate Davis. You have that right, but your characterization of Raider fans as suckers due to our losing, has no bearing how one should feel or think about Raider fans.

We all share a bond, that is a strong belief that we will be there no matter what.

Yes, indeed I am ready for some victories to lead the Raiders to the playoffs.
Mr. Nnamdi Asomugha, Mr. Ellis, and Mr. Seymour and the rest of the D-Line and other defensive players way to take the leadership roles.
Mr. Murphy thank you as well for giving a 100% on the field and off in leading the offense!
Raiders continue to focus and defeat the Jets, if it means run 50 tmes then run, if it means go deep then go deep, if it means dump offs then take what the NY D gives you, and if it means block one Jet downfield and then another then by all means knock them on their ass!
