Ok guys. I said I would come on here and eat crow if the Raiders pulled off another improbable win. I actually wish I was in a position to do so. But sadly, this team is becoming more and more pathetic each week.

Seymour stated that on last Sunday they could probably have not beaten high school team. I believe that.

It is NOT laughable however, that JR continues to be nothing but a whiner and finger pointer instead of the leader of this team.

And excuse me........what is it about his game that the moron does not understand lead to his benching?? Is he serious?? He cannot be that stupid.

And to blame teamates for his lack of production and leadership???

Unbelievable!!!

I did not watch this farce of a game and instead spent time with my family. Checking the score later, I was totally disgusted.

As a fan, I am sick and tired of Al Davis BS. He clearly is the one behind keeping Russell on the field, to the detriment of his teamates.

To all the Raider Nation...you deserve much better than this circus. Quit supporting the Davis administration, demand better and voice your disapproval.

Doing so does NOT make you a Raider traitor.

Cable is a capable guy, but is just brown-nosing to keep his job. He can't really believe what he is saying either.

Does he really believe JR is paying attention?

My favorite Raider is Jeannette Thompson from “Behind the Shield” on Raiders.com.

She’s well-prepared, articulate, presents herself well and seems to be a fine human being.

Maybe she can take over for Al Davis.

I bet Jeannette could hire a GM and turn the team around. If Al likes her, it might be our only chance.

1.	Attention all Raider fans.
Something needs to be done. Al Davis needs to feel what the fans are going through. the only way to do this is through his pocket book. Investors are already complaining. I’m going to send a letter and petition to Al Davis while copying in a few members of the Media. I’m hoping to get out what will be a request for a boycott. I’m a season ticket hold, life long Raider fan and My son’s middle name is Raider. I will always remain a Raider fan but this fiasco call the Raiders is more about Al Davis’s ego and commitment to proving himself right. I believe he needs to return a “commitment to excellence.” If anyone is interested in joining my petition please email me at salves@uniworld.com. More details to follow.

I clearly remember Russell outplaying Brady Quinn in the bowl game when he was at LSU. Russell looked sharp and accurate with a quick release. His arm strength was off the charts and he could zip the ball down field. There was no doubt he was better than Quinn.
But that was the last game Russell HAD to play.
He retired after that game. He made it. He signed a huge contract for a ton of money and he can retire now. He doesn't have to play the game anymore. He's rich beyond belief.

Al Davis use to draft big, fast players who loved the game. I think he has clearly gotten away from that and has taken players who don't care about the game. Ray Lewis would play football for lunch money, because he loves the game. JaMarcus couldn't care less about the game. It shows. Johnny Lee Higgins is laughing on the side line. It shows how much he cares.
The sad thing, is that nothing is going to change. Davis thinks he can just draft players off their 40 times and everything will be alright. Davis would never draft FS Bob Sanders because he doesn't measure up to the Raider standards. Instaed he takes Mike Mitchell.
I love the Raiders. Always have, since I first saw Stabler lead them to a comeback in the 70's. But I know they won't win with Davis still making the decisions.

I love all your answers and passion but I keep saying until al davis is dead or forced to sell the team to a true businessman owner the Raiders are never going to win. We spend as much money as the NY yankees and have nothing to show for it but a bitter old man who is to stupid to admit that the game has long passed him by. There is not one player on the Raiders other that is going to get the money al paid them from any other team in the league. Sapp was right Oakland is where careers go to die. Our bust QB and team was shown up by a bunch of hard working nobodies. Al couldn't even get the right twin to coach on our team. Our old D-coach is doing great on the cleveland browns this year while the other is making the jets a real team. I just hope of these days they show al slumped over in his chair and we can join the 21st century. Maybe this year he will draft Tebow because all the experts say he is going to be a great pro. F**K AL DAVIS

"Terrapin Says:
October 26th, 2009 at 8:32 pm

The playcalling – terrible – too many deep patterns – not enough quick stuff to mix it up. Not enough sticking with the run. Cable is aggressive which is great, but damn he has to realize his team isn’t there yet."

I couldn't agree with this more... A complete make-shift O-Line and he's running RB's out wide on the first play on their own 10 yard line?

Second series great opening pass to Miller. Would have preffered a run but it was a high percentage pass. Then a run. Then Murphy drops a pass for the first down.

Some people would say the ball was behind him. C'Mon. BOTH HANDS ON THE BALL.

I think many people don't realize how many passes wr's make for their QB's. Does everyone here really believe that every Peyton Manning, Brees, Brady pass is in the EXACT right place every time?

So many receivers make plays that are high throws or slightly errant throws and then the next play happens and nobody thinks anything of it. You would think that fans who watched Tim Brown play would have some knowledge of such a thing.

Let be real here. Gradkowski aint gonna lead this franchise anywhere. Anybody promoting him to start is just fooling themselves. Really fooling themselves.

10-19 for 97yds ...he can't do any worse than Russell? Sht that "IS" Russell ...darn near 50% completion and piss poor production for darn near a whole 4Qs. And how long has Gradkowski been in the league?

Puuuhlezze!

Face it. The Raiders have to see this through and hope it all turns around. But the longer this goes on that hope becomes lost. If nothing shows itself then look for a replacement in the offseason.

Bring in Gradkowski in the 2Q, Cable basically told the team he gave up. And the defense got progressively worse. It was a bad move by Cable. Period! He made the move and ended up getting shut out at home - 0pt! Even if they would have loss anyway, would you rather lose 38-14 or 38-0? At least the former has some semblance of respect. But you make the move EARLY in the game and your offense gets shut out at home. Brilliant!
