LA to the Bay,

I'm with you with on 99% of it, except the don't draft any skill players line.

We need a QB and a RB. Maybe not our 1st rounder, but we must address those two positions. A real NFL everydown RB would do wonder's to this offense, especially one who does not have to come off the field.

Our QB-RB combo is one of the worst in the NFL, except maybe for Cleveland and Tampa. I don't get the whole "draft only linemen" talk.

You know who has used the least amount of 1st or 2nd round draft picks on O-lineman the last 10 years, and has drafted the most WR's in the first two rounds those same 10 years? The Pittsburgh Steelers.

We need a QB, RB, and a MLB more than we need a RT (who you don't draft until later rounds anyway) or DT. I think Center might be our weakest line spot, and a 3rd rounder would probably be a huge upgrade.

Or Al could be smart and make moves early.

Reassure him he is redoubling his efforts to make a competitive team.

I like what Cable tried and is trying to do, but its not working. I know a lot of you want the coaching carousel to stop. I say let it stop once we get the right coach.

So that's first thing.

Second is to offer Seymour a deal. If he balks, franchise him.

Third, In the meantime, sign the nastiest, hungriest FAs available, not neccecarily the best 'athletes,' but the best athletic football players.

Fourth, draft intelligently. No skill players. None. Draft order should look something like DT, RT, MLB, SSLB, C, RG, DE, or basically like the last 5 drafts should have been.

Seymour sees legitimate progress (or legitimate dollars), maybe he's convinced to stay.

Not sure of the NFL schedule of events, so I doubt you can get all of that accomplished before he tries to walk or sit, but I think step 1 would be critical.

Overtures need to be made to Cowher, Holmgrenn, Shanahan (yes, I said it), Shottenheimer (yup), and Gruden (that's right).

Shanny and Shotty would be interesting because they hate the Raiders and Al Davis, which I think makes them perfect candidates to rebuild the team.

Any of these coaches would need creative control, or at least a great deal of it.

An offensive coordinator would be nice. I'd let Marshall stay as long as he's allowed to run his defense.

That being said, get ready for Al debuting the youngest NFL Head Coach to date, 25 year Old CIF Coach of the Year Wayne Mifflin and defensive coordinator Al Davis.

Wayne and Al will draft three defensive backs, two wide receivers, and a tight end (to be converted to defensive end).

Raiders won't let Seymour walk for nothing. That's why the trade was fairly smart, if they franchise him or "tag" him, when he walks we will get our pick back.

It's like a free rental for a year, or if we do re-sign him, we are certainly getting more than what Al would do with a 1st round pick.

Should be fun next off-season, Al franchising Seymour, him holding out, demanding to be traded. Can't wait!!!

"With the second pick in 2010 NFL draft, the Oakland Raiders select.....wait for it.....

Taylor Mays, Safety, University of Southern California.

Learn it, live it, love it...

It's safe to say the Rams have a lock on #1, but we are beginning to solidify our chances for #2..Yay...

Morning Hwnrdr and NATION…

If we were winning Hwnrdr everyone would be talking about this great play or that great play.We are losing so instead of talking about how 2 get better they character assassinate each-other.The posters in here have said many many many times how 2 get better and almost every single thought is correct. But after 6 years of giving correct ideas there is not much more 2 say.Big Al cant or wont listen 2 ANYONE else and they all feel their thoughts are meaningless 2 Big Al,so they take their aggressions out on the loyal fans…Themselves. When theres no one else 2 blame we turn on each-other,even tho our suggestions would help immensly, imo

^^^^^^^Thats another problem....out of the many problems in this organization!

I have said this the last 3 years....AL DAVIS does not give a CRAP what us fans in the Raider Nation think....it's all about him and his dictatorship!

Thats main reason why he needs to go away....he doesn't care about the fans opinion of him and how the "organization" is being run into the ground.

Plus he has made HORRIBLE decisions since trading Gruden way.....stupidly I might add.
