Cable, Davis have talked about allegations

Raiders coach Tom Cable said Wednesday he has spoken with owner Al Davis regarding allegations in an ESPN story he has a violent history toward women.
The Raiders issued a press release Monday saying they would “undertake a serious evaluation of the matter.”
Said Cable following practice: “Al and I have spoken. What we talked about is between us and we’ll keep it that way,” adding that he would let the sitaution run its course and that he expected to remain coach of the Raiders through the rest of the season.
When asked if he had been assured he would remain the coach, Cable said, “We didn’t even talk about that. We talked about, like you’re supposed to, the team, personnel moves, the second half and upcoming (games). Those are not issues for us to discuss. There’s no need to right now. Right now it’s about trying to turn it around and get us on track.”

(Free agent — 45 percent) Far be it from me to promote anyone in a Raiders uniform, but if you’re desperate for a running back, adding Fargas is worth considering. He’s rushed for a combined 209 yards and a touchdown in his last three games, and a matchup against the Chiefs and their weak run defense awaits after a bye in Week 10. Again, if you’re in dire straits at the position, Fargas has some value.

I’m still waiting for Cable or Tollner to call some WR bubble screens with two blockers in front so DHB can explode for a big gain. Still waiting to see proper reverses executed with DHB….still waiting on some plays called with him running some double moves…..still waiting on plays to be called with him running hitch patterns or 15 curl and comeback routes.
I’m still waiting for Al Davis to “retire” from making football decisions and for a REAL GM and HC to be hired like Gruden, Cowher or Holmgren or Fisher!!!

This freakin team needs Jon Gruden as the Head Coach again! We all know it….since he should have never been “TRADED” in the first freakin place. Hire him back and bringing back Bruce Allen or a reall personnel man will turn this franchise around and it will exercise “some” of Al Davis’ demons!
Only way this team turns into a respectable playoff caliber team again…..PERIOD!

A star running back drafted number 4 overall, who has a mother who steals and sells crack, has two brothers in opposing gangs, and has fathered illegitimate babies from different mothers.
A number one quarter back who puts in minimum time for self-improvement, and who thinks failure and poor performance is acceptable.
How about some quality control here fellas?

If you want to watch the real team in black right now. Watch the Saints play ball! They built that team up around a QB and a a X and Os coach. They put their players in a position to win. They play to those players strengths. I guess we will be running McFadden on a blast up the middle for two yards and sweeping Bush around the outside.
