I sit here and read everyday how upset our nation is about our team. Maybe this is a place to vent but i see the same things being said over and over about JR and Cable and talking about how they dont know if they can be a fan any longer or need counseling for being a Fan. Part of being a fan is standing by our team during this phase its not saying that your gonna jump ship because things are not going our way. I started watching the raiders when my father took me to games while they played here in Los Angeles and since then I have been a fan. When everyone in football bashed my team i still stood there and was a fan because thats what real fans do. So if ur second guessing my team maybe you should raise another teams flag because we dont need you!

Whatever Lonetree, but Al is an ego driven dictator any way you wanna look at it. He has run this organization into the ground simply because he can. He drafts JaMonkie & DHB in the first round & they shouldn’t be in the NFL. He gives Javon Walker & Tommy freakin Kelly ridiculous salaries who also shouldn’t be in the NFL, yet he won’t give Gruden control of the roster after being a proven playoff team.

The Raider will always suffer, because the organization makes no effort to set up a plan for success, you cannot have 2 rookies @ wr, a developing quarterback, a mix n match o-line and a paper mache defense learning new systems each and every year. The players drafted are non-existant, not because of talent. But because of coaching, and the environment. If DHB played for the Steelers he would succeed, although the Steelers would have passed on him, for Mike Wallace. The Raiders, should not replace Tom Cable with another mediocre, cheap coach. If you cannot land a coach of High priced caliber, with a proven NFL track record. Don’t bother. Cable is as good as it gets. His system will break the players in eventually, help them develop the swagger of a winning NFl player, and propel the team as a whole. A new second rate coach will bring more of the same, a new system, a new approach, and the players will, especially the QB with their obvious low-rate football IQ will not grasp it, and fail again. 5-second rate coaches, 5 years, only equalls one consistancy, a losing one!!
