Kelly missing as practice begins

The Raiders began practice at something much closer to full strength Monday, although defensive tackle Tommy Kelly was not present.

Kelly was not listed as injured or ill during last week’s bye week practice sessions. The Raiders signed defensive tackle William Joseph Monday after flying him in last Friday.

Those who were on the field and practicing following warmups and drills included running back Darren McFadden (knee), right tackle Cornell Green (calf), left guard Robert Gallery (leg) and tight end Tony Stewart (chest).

Defensive end Greg Ellis, who underwent arthroscopic knee surgery last week, emerged from the locker room when warmups were underway and was walking with no sign of a limp.

More to come following Tom Cable’s post-practice press briefing . . .

  • Congrats, to Jon Becker. For FINALLY hiring a couple of slackers at the local Starbucks, and fixing this dump.

Now, only if the Fat Man could fix the Raiders…

What has Barback done for the economy since he took office besides run it into the ground with his 800 billion dollar stimulus debt ?

  • Mistabrown

4eva, thats your right but who cares what you think? Barback has done more damage in 1 year than Jimmy Carter, Clinton, and both Bush’s combined.

  • The World Health Organization (WHO), in 2000, ranked the U.S. health care system as the highest in cost, first in responsiveness, 37th in overall performance, and 72nd by overall level of health (among 191 member nations included in the study).[15][16] A 2008 report by the Commonwealth Fund ranked the United States last in the quality of health care among the 19 compared countries.[17]

The US is ranked 33rd in the world in INFANT Mortality rates, just above Croatia, with 6.5 deaths for every 1,000 live births.

The US and Peurto Rico are tied for 28th in the world for Life Expectancy.

How’s that for a argument for Health reform, Mistabrown?

What KK doesn’t understand is that with the way people in the US drink, abuse drugs and eat fast food, it is a testament to our health care system that we are even ranked at #28.

We have the best doctors in the world…well, not for long…

  • The US is 19th in the world in Literacy rates.

    #1 Cuba

  • Hey Exla,

When are we getting Bynum and Gasol back?

  • exlaraiderseasonticketholder

The answer: Feb 5, 2003 Senator Hillary Clinton.

Another case of I was for it before I was against it.

  • “We have the best doctors in the world…well, not for long…”
Best Doctors, maybe, but poor Heal Care delivery system. AND we spend the most on it.

  • exlaraiderseasonticketholder

Bynum is week to week, could be anytime and Gasol is working out. Probably 1st home game.

  • The US is 13th in the world by Human Development Index.

damn guys, it does seem that you are unaware in your arguments of left right and center that you live in a laughable banana republic. owned by the wage-slaver corporate masters and foreign investors, this land, once every few years puts on a voting show to make the populace think they can make a difference. hoodwinked, flags are waved, slogans chanted, and the barons of industry just keep raking in the profits as nothing substantial changes.

  • Mistabrown check out the Gross National Product graph, and reconsider Barbacks job on the economy. Just the fact, sir.

  • Don’t worry guys…the Large Hadron Collider will soon put us out of Al’s misery.
