– Bengals killing Raiders when they blitz _ Palmer hits Andre Caldwell for 17 vs. Tyvon Branch, then Chad Ochocinco for 15 more vs. Nnamdi Asomugha with Branch blitzing.
–Raiders punt on first possession from own 40, Gradkowski misses Louis Murphy on third-and-5 over deep middle.
_ Abysmal first drive for Raiders. Bengals drive 78 yards in 14 plays, recovering from terrible down and distance.
Voice from Bengals coaches box: “That was a great drive, but it was a (B.S.) drive. Chad Ochocinco (2 catches, 42 yards), calls the booth. Coach tells him to calm down, quit waving at corners to come up and cover him.
Palmer 5-for-6, 91 yards in drive. Hits Bernard Scott on 23-yard screen, Ochocinco on 32-yard pass.

Hackett may not want to coach BRL, but BRL did not endear himself by coming in outta shape…. Does BRL even know the playbook yet?
He know it and with the proper coaching, could be light years ahead of where he is right now. Thanks to Hack, all of his progress from last season has gone kaput- how do you explain that? 90 QB rating over the last 6 games and now this?

I think there were options for JR to dink and dunk but hes too stupid to get the ball to the right people or do it accurately.

That is the problem. I am still astonished that a QB who can’t read defenses and is inaccurate could even become a 1st overall pick with all the scrutiny, media and scouting resources.

Real team with a real coach = real production from the players. Grads knows the playbook because it’s the same playbook from Tampa…Russell learned the whole playbook this summer, however in an attempt to make him “seem” dumb, you guys continue to say that he doesn’t know it- how do you know what he knows? If Hackett spent half as much time coaching this kid instead of trying not to coach him, the results would speak for themselves.

Sorry, I just get hyped up watching them sustain a drive. I agree Jamarcus was accurate at the end of last season, but I don’t accept the Hackett conspiracy. Russell has had plenty of chances this season.
