I refused to admit it too.But the idea that Russell got a raw deal from Cable? Come on.This guy was given more of a shot than most would have been in that position.Russell's problem is Russell. He is lazy and refuses to accept responsibility for his own problems.Her's more interested than hanging out with his dogs 'up in the club' than being an NFL QB.We heard that every week. And I gave him the benefit of the doubt myself for a long time. But reality is reality, my friend. That is why he is on the bench. Obviously there is going to be a few different plays for Gradkowski that maybe you wouldn't call for Russell. Bruce doesn't have as strong an arm. But claiming that Russell would be fine if only cable called better plays when he was starting is ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, Cable has no business calling plays, but he basically tried every play you could think of and Russell still couldn't make good decisions or hit WR's that were open. So maybe Cable isn't the best playcaller, and the WR's are rookies that need work. But it says something when you change QB's and suddenly the offense is able to move the ball, receivers are catching passes. No,it was way past time for Russell to get the hook. Got a feeling he will. Coming from a smaller school it was a given he’d struggle to get up to speed in coverage but he’s quietly been a force and a very solid tackler.

We suddenly have some depth at Safety. Branch was phenomenal Sunday.

Usually a big play or bad penaltiy deflates them and its ride the clock out time. Not this Sunday. They're fully capable of playing with fire and intesity and if they do they'll win more games. Go production from the 2nd stringers and newbies whcih is hella encouraging.
