Randy Hanson back at work with Raiders

Doubtful they’ll be issuing any press releases, or putting it on Raiders.com, but a source has confirmed to beat writer Steve Corkran that Randy Hanson is back at work in the scouting department today.
Hanson cooperated with police in an investigation of an alleged assault by coach Tom Cable that left him with a broken jaw. No charges were filed.

He’s not listed as a coach or administrative staff. Maybe they did this so he could get a job with another organization. Maybe Al likes him for his support in the Kiffin affair?

You are correct. Al believes in loyalty and not sure if he has settled the Kitten lawsuit yet but you know he needs him for it.
But I also believe that Hanson was never fired. he is on payroll and given the opportunity to come back. One can also believe that the attorney for Hanson asks him to come back and force Al for a bigger payment to settle the case. irritate the shcytt out of the org and force Al to settle it now that it seems we have righted the ship.

Gradkowski is showing signs of Rich Gannon/Jeff Garcia. He’ll definately get the boot next season. Theres no way we can have any success with a guy thats not Al Davis’ main guy. Winning with someone else would just be wrong.

Can’t you just picture it at the next company picnic when Cable and Hanson wind up teamed up in the 3-legged race. Or Hanson atop Cable’s shoulders in Al Davis’ pool competing in “chicken fights”.
