None of it matters. We don’t have a QB anyway.

Maybe thats what it is.Of course we can only speculate of what REALLY goes on inside. But with Big Al’s motto being Just Win Baby….I would take that 2 mean you do whatever is asked of you 4 the GOOD of the TEAM.Like I said if I was Bush, after my senior year was gone b/c of a broken leg,and da Raiders drafted me anyway and gave me a shot when no one else would….I would have not hesitated 2 play FB….anything 2 help the team….right????
=========================
First off, no, it’s not ‘anything to help the team”, nitwit.
If you’re out of position, and you don’t perform at the top at that position, then your value goes down. Other teams don’t glance at a floudering FB, but pay close attention to a stud RB.
Stick a solid guard at LT, where he gets run over, never has a player thinking “no big deal. took it for the team”.
Oh hell, why am I telling you? You wear a dress. Next thing you’ll get all emotional and want to discuss Oprah.
Oh..and Gomer? Al didn’t coin “Just win, Baby”..Phil Villipiano did.
December 13th, 2009 at 12:26 pm
Al has two concerns today.
First is that the wind will turn his hair back into the Crypt Keeper.
Second is that the camera’s will follow punts, showing the announced attendance of 29,477 as to being slightly off..by 10,000 or so.

Had a nightmare last night that Jamarcus sees the field for some reason today. I saw him looking surprised and confused (I’ve seen that look before) going to gather his helmet and march out in the sleet to lead the troops.
December 13th, 2009 at 12:35 pm
I had a nightmare that our owner is Al Davis.

At a tangent, Here in the UK they announcing (i think) two games next year in London – anyone heard the Raides anme being mentioned?
Also i’ve put money on two in a row baby!!!!
December 13th, 2009 at 12:44 pm
No DHB.
Great, we now have a chance to win.
Bruce Almighty will come through again.
December 13th, 2009 at 12:46 pm
I think England wants good teams to play their games there, teams people care about. Better ratings. Considering that, the Raiders are pretty far down the list.
December 13th, 2009 at 12:47 pm
Grad needs to have a strong performance today to further his cause of being a solid starter in the NFL. I personally think that he needs to win at least 2 more games and have strong performances in all games left to prove that the pitts game was not a fluke. But he is for sure an upgrade over Russell at this point. We should run the ball a lot today. Given that hayneswoth is out and washington has a bad run def. But who knows, we’ll prob come out throwing because we might get over confident that now we can play like the pats. Play smart football and to your opponents weaknesses and we’ll do ok.
December 13th, 2009 at 12:59 pm
The Real maddenraider,
My theory is send them to England and at least you get 81,000 in rather than 36,000
what’s your thought on JMR comments, i know your a fan – i want the guy to become big but it’s just not going in is it!!!
December 13th, 2009 at 1:09 pm

December 13th, 2009 at 1:16 pm
wow higgins has a 3.3 avg ret…holy shcytt
December 13th, 2009 at 1:17 pm
coach, I was only a russell fan for a brief moment earlier this season. Yeh, I joked about buying his jersey, and now I’m being held to that because people have no other argument to refute my points about this team now. Russell sucks. So does Gradkowski. He sucks. He’s not good. He has some WCO instincts that mainly Gruden developed in him which gives him a better ability to find windows, as WCO QBs are trained to take what the defense gives them. But overall he’s not good. If we had a real GM, either Roesthlisberger or one of the other decent QB’s we passed up in the draft in the name of rolling the dice with Kerry Collins and Aaron Brooks would be here, and we wouldn’t be stuck with a hilarious QB roster of Russsell, Gradkowski, and I don’t even remember who the third bench warmer is. As long as Al Davis is here, this team doesn’t have a prayer. Even if Gradkowski does turn out to be decent, Al will find a way to get rid of him and get another deep passer in there. But I don’t think he’s that good anyway. I haven’t seen it. I’m unimpressed with the Steeler game because they just lost to cleveland, too. Pittsburgh’s not that good this year.

that’s the ‘rub’ from the Zebra’s…
ticky tack penalties, everytime…
December 13th, 2009 at 1:26 pm
Gradkowski is getting no time to throw the ball.
December 13th, 2009 at 1:27 pm
Everyone must be at the game today.
Kinda dead in here.
December 13th, 2009 at 1:28 pm
2nd and 10, cable called for deep routes on both wideouts. Terrible call. Send at least 1 guy short wont he?
December 13th, 2009 at 1:30 pm
where the link @??
December 13th, 2009 at 1:31 pm
Raider75,
My worst fear today was that they would not give Grad throwing lanes. So far, he’s running for his life.
December 13th, 2009 at 1:33 pm
McFadden looks great at WR
December 13th, 2009 at 1:35 pm
They are saying the 48 yard reception is the longest play from scrimmage.
NOT TRUE.
Miller had an 85 yard catch and run for a TD
December 13th, 2009 at 1:36 pm
3-0 baby
December 13th, 2009 at 1:37 pm
Raider 75,
I was thinking the same thign. The announcers are horrible today.

link 2 game.. Murph had a 75 yrd TD last week
December 13th, 2009 at 1:42 pm
Johnson gets called for a penalty.
Gee, imagine that.
December 13th, 2009 at 1:44 pm
Raiders getting good pressure so far.
But they can’t contain him and he has been able to break loose for runs.
December 13th, 2009 at 1:46 pm
TD Skins.
Raiders defense had chances to kill the drive but just couldn’t finish plays.
When you get shots at the QB, you have to make the tackle.
December 13th, 2009 at 1:47 pm
morrison ran himself right out of the blitz and allowed a big Campbell run. They need to replace his a$$.
December 13th, 2009 at 1:48 pm
finally Cable is using McFadden the way we’ve been asking for.
December 13th, 2009 at 1:48 pm
They need to keep McFadden at WR.
December 13th, 2009 at 1:54 pm
That’s a TD
December 13th, 2009 at 1:55 pm
Fargas with the TD
