– Jason Campbell converts third-and-6 pass to Rock Cartwright for first down and Redskins are beginning to move the Raiders defense with tough runs by Quinton Ganther. Ganther runs for a yard to the 45 on last play of the third quarter.
– Two third-down conversions by Russell on passes to Zach Miller and Louis Murphy come undone by Andre Carter sack and false start by Cooper Carlisle. Ineligible receiver downfield _ Cornell Green _ makes it second-and-26.
Brian Orakpo gets past Russell, 9-yard sack. It’s third-and-36. Pass to Zach Miller hits ground, ruled complete pass, likely to be reversed . . . which it is.
Lechler punts it away on fourth-and-35. It goes into end zone _ 53 yards, 33 net.

Russell needs some self accountability in this. He has all of the tools and was the best QB available. Please don’t start with Quinn or Edwards. They stunk on draft day and continue to stink today. Russell demonstrated leadership at LSU and brought the team back against teams while he was here. Then for whatever reason he failed. I blame Russell because he has control over what he does to prepare for the game. Management can fine him, bench him and yell until they are blue in the face. It has to come from the individual.

I have my issues with Tom Cable but overall he aint bad. His hands are tied due to Crazy Al forcing him to play Russell and dhb.
We can see that this team is respectable with a legit QB back there. As soon as JR goes back there today, it was like the Giants game all over again.

Jamarcus Russell is the worst QB in the entire NFL. He is a worthless piece of sh!t and should be cut immediately after the game. If anyone thinks differently, you should get on a roof and jump off head first. Tom Cable should be fired next. The play calling this game was absolutely pathetic. If we dont get a GM and a good head coach we will be finished for atleast another 3 seasons.

Because priesttj is a ball less old man, who feels he should defend guys his age, Al Davis, and all of his decisions. Al stated to all that Kiffin was a fool for not backing JR. Priest ran his mouth all preseason on how great JR is.

the reason people passed on Peterson was because of the injuries that he got in college. Most teams will pass on a RB that has multiple separated shoulders in college. I watched Peterson in high school and watched him in college and when he was a Sooner he was a player that got injured a lot and his running style didn’t help. That is why teams passed on him.
