Frye to start
By Jerry McDonald - NFL Writer
Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009 at 2:40 pm in Oakland Raiders.
Raiders coach Tom Cable said Charlie Frye had cleared all tests relative to his concussion and is line to start “as of today” against Cleveland Sunday.
Frye practiced without limitations. Cable said Bruce Gradkowski, who did not practice Thursday, was improving rapidly but still “doubtful” to be available.
Players must be symptom-free to practice and play, meaning if Frye were to have a reoccurence of headaches before Sunday, he would be out. He declined to speak to reporters coming off the field, saying he was scheduled to talk Thursday _ which is usually the day the Raiders starting quarterback speaks.
Tight end Zach Miller was also on the field, having passed his tests, and was limited in practice.
More to come . . .

Charlie is from Ohio I believe. He played at Akron in college, and Cleveland had high hopes for him coming in.
Another Gradkowski-like homecoming moment??

When an economy collapses, the government has to be the demand of last resort. Confidence was restorted and now the economy is coming back. Bush and Reagan are responsible for most of the National Debt.

Vegas, I hope you know how the Fed’s fudge the numbers every month, they say only 10% filed for unemployment, but there are 65 million people already not working, thay are not reappling. That is what they are showing you!
December 23rd, 2009 at 3:47 pm
860ToddC, don’t try debating with libturds. They don’t understand what they believe to be true is wrong.
December 23rd, 2009 at 3:47 pm
Vegas is closer to the truth. I find it VERY difficult to be partisan at all anymore.
We are all worthless to the politicians individually, we only have value collectively as a resource (taxes).
I think that all the dem vs rep stuff, splits us and keeps us from attacking the real issues.
December 23rd, 2009 at 3:49 pm
Sweep has got it right!
December 23rd, 2009 at 3:55 pm
Barack and Bush both agreed on how to handle things last October and November.
No one ever brings that up because they either watch Beck or Olberman and playing partisian politics.
I’m an O-Reilly guy, but a tad more socially liberal.
December 23rd, 2009 at 3:56 pm
I can’t believe any citizen would permit the way some politicians have disrespected so many seeking answers to what government is doing with OUR tax dollars. Turning off microphones, removing constituents with opposing views, talking on cellphones when asked a question? These priicks must be removed from office, regardless of political party. QUESTION BOLDLY!
December 23rd, 2009 at 4:04 pm
Look at the number of politicians leaving office multi millionaires. How about those who failed to pay their fair share of taxes until appointed by Obama for a job, which later they could not accept because of ethics concerns. These are the ones who must voted out of office, and before that, investigated and subject to prosecution, if appropriate

Let’s go Frye!!! Thank God we do not have to sit through another game with JaBust. He may have to come in if Frye goes down, but hopefully JaBust’s days are coming to an end in Oakland. The guy is absolutely brutal, no desire, no passion, terrible accuracy, and that is just a few of his shortcomings.
Next to go will be DHB, a huge draft blunder again by the Raider organization. The biggest reason why we have not made the playoffs in 7 seasons is because of our horrendous drafts. The Raiders seem to do well in the later rounds, but just cannot seem to get the first couple of picks right. How much have the Raiders first 2 picks contributed to the team this season? DHB has no hands, he is a track guy in a football uniform. I have said this since the day we drafted him, and he has proven me correct time and time again. Maybe his foot injury will keep him out all of next season so we can actually watch guys who know how to catch a football.
Lets get this win against the Browns. Lets move forward and address the 0-line and D-line in the offseason. Go Raiders!!!
P.S. Al get rid of the dead weight on this team, especially JaBust and DHB!!!
