Lawton suspended four games

The NFL has suspended fullback Luke Lawton for four games for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances.

Lawton will miss the Cleveland and Baltimore games this season, and the first two games of the 2010 season without pay. He started three games this season and played in all 13.

That leaves the Raiders with only converted halfback Gary Russell as the lone fullback on the roster. The Raiders have one fullback, Marcel Reece, on the practice squad who could be activated to face the Browns.

Hey Krappy! Merry X-Mas Eve, my old pal!

So what are your big plans for the holiday? Squeezing out a yule log in your pants? Going ice fishing near your chalet in Switzerland? Adding more lovely pictures of you and KrappyWife to the photos section of your real estate website?

Either way, I’m hoping you and your grandson Brian the Genital enjoy yourselves at the final home game next weekend. Al has no idea what’s coming!

Looking forward to a rewarding 2010 together!

    – Your pal

PS – Hey, have you seen that Ricochet kid attempting to steal your cut and paste technique? What a goof!

Hell I just hope they win.
    It’s freaking Cleveland.
if Frye wins it will help push JR out the door.
And if they win the last 2 it’s an improvement from last year and any true Raider fan would want that.
    Still not good enough!

Hire a smart GM that’s up to the challenge.

ah, the good ol’ days when Jack Lambert would slobber through his broken teeth because he was so amped up. Sorry Luke, you missed that era.

    deactivate the ZBS !!!

He wasn’t taking enough. Why do something half-assed? He was mediocre at best and I guess that was WITH the juice. That doesn’t say a lot about what he brings to the table naturally. What ever happened to OO?

I don’t know why so many think dumping JR is a good idea…The kid just turned 24 and had ONE year of college football. People forget, he was drafted for his POTENTIAL upside not because he was a ready and polished product! I say continue to coach him up & give him more time to develop…that’s why it’s called an investment! Al must be patient & put more players around him (OL?) to help his success. Wouldn’t you hate to see us let him go & he goes somewhere else & blows it up, a la Charles Woodson??

Not only does he miss blocks, he is a dope head. Al, get rid of him. He does not deserve to wear the silver and black

Hopefully, the guy can continue his career…guess he just wanted an edge..
