Keep hopes up. I had the same surgery on 2 discs a year and a half ago....with added shaving of bulges on 2 discs. Now, I am no pro football player...but I AM 62 years old. Nevertheless, I was back to getting firewood 6 months later.... which includes loading half-rounds of 2 1/2 diameter doug fir cut to 18" lengths into a pickup...then unloading and splitting them later.
