Most of the time he’s untouched until he gets to the DB’s! is that just Morrison’s fault? Is that even primarily KM’s fault? and what exactly is Morrison’s role? Most of the time under Rob Ryan he was floating back into coverage …

NT’s or DT’s are no excuse for Morrison’s piss poor tackling on an island, constantly getting wired to blockers, over pursuing the run, not minding his gap responsibilities and getting caught out of position, making horrible audibles that cost TDs and long runs ect ect.
Morrison sucks at MLB.
He and Howard were brought in to deal with Gates, Gonzales and who they thought Schefler was going to be.
That was of course assuming teams would eventually need to pass against us when our offense provided a lead.
Surely you can’t be suggesting we DON’T need an MLB?
Besides, Wilfork’s tagged and anyone can see with the draft of guys like Sedrick Ellis and Glen Dorsey rookie DT’s rarely have a massive impact right away despite paying them top 10-15 money.
Do we need better play from our D line. YES!
Is MLB mmore of a priority? YES…

He’s not 6-2, 200 lbs + but he’s likely the best man coverage DB in the draft.

Rolando McClain is the shiz night.

He’s a 3 down LB and a f’in thumper against the run.

He’s VERY intelligent and has a killer work ethic.

This guy can read offenses and set the D. Unlike Morrison who’s shown over his lengthy tenure he CANNOT.

Bet your azz McClain would LEARN from his over pursuit and not let it happen again and again and again and again and again and again and….
