Pendergast jumps to Cal

Clancy Pendergast, who was fired as defensive coordinator with the Arizona Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs in the past two years, will leave the Raiders after less than a month and to be defensive coordinator under Jeff Tedford at Cal, beat writer Steve Corkran confirms.

Hard to imagine a stadium is `feasible’

So the there’s a “feasibility study” on the table for the Oakland-Alameda County Authority board to look in to the possibility of a football stadium which could house both the Raiders and 49ers, according to the Oakland Tribune.

The Raiders made no announcements regarding the hiring of former Cardinals and Chiefs defensive coordinator Clancy Pendergast Monday, although a team source confirmed an interview had taken place and that there could be something forthcoming this week.
