    meh and first

  • Guy

Wow, Jeremy Ware (WHOO???) over Donovan Warren, Ciron Black, and Brandon Carter. Stupid Davis man.

  • Guy

could have had starters in Ciron Black, Brandon Carter, and Tony Washington.

  • RaidingTexas

Davis going for the pro day speed guys again. At least they’re low risk in these rounds.

Should’ve gone with Brandon Carter. JMHO

  • DKnight007

God I hate it when they pick CB’s!

Oh well….they still have one more pick!

Blount would have been good here. Ugh

Better get a Guard or a Fat NT with the last pick or somebodys was starting to slip in the draft room.

Probably the old man Al was the one interfering here! LOL

  • jhill

It’s the 7th rd man, relax!

  • DKnight007

The stupid old man Al pick rears it’s ugly head again!

    Sheesh….

  • SD_Raider_619

Senile Al Davis is going to be pissed after this round, when he finds out the draft is over jajajajaja. He thinks this is the 3rd round jajajajajajaa

  • RaidingTexas

Blount will draw too many 15-yarders. Don’t want him. Let someone else carry that baggage.

With all the FA money and draft picks he wasted on Walker, Moss, Wilson, Hall, and others you cant say he wasnt trying to win one.

    ………….

Yes, I can, as a matter of fact. Those players weren’t that good. Just because Al throws a bunch of money at a lousy player means I’m supposed to believe he’s trying to win a Super Bowl? The only glimpse I’ve seen of Al Davis seriously trying to win a Super Bowl in the past 20 years is when he let Gruden bring Gannon, Rice, and Garner in. Also before the 2002 season when he went all in with the defense, R. Woodson, Romo, Sam Adams. THAT was Al trying to win a super Bowl. And that was it. Just about a 4 year span in the last 20 years. …Maybe ’93, too. From the ’94 to the Gruden era, and from the Super Bowl loss to today? Nada. Just nothing. I do not believe Al Davis is trying go win a Super Bowl.

Yes, but there is better talent still on the board…..

  • Guy

I dont care, he could have had Donvovan Warren or Creozden Butler, both better CB prospects.

  • aig

Cable has been SO CONSISTENT in trying to tell all of us he wants strong character guys. Blount is not going to be one of those guys.

anyone want to guess on who the undrafted freeagents are going to be?

  • cmiychludwig

Jamarcus Russell is going to be that DT that Cable alluded to… Don’t worry about it…

  • ohioraider

F-ing Al. Somebody double up his meds for chrissake. WE NEED A CENTER!

  • jhill

Did we get Bruce Campbell too ???

  • http://atm Raider O

    Over Blount?!?
    Damn You Mich!!!

  • Guy

I hope B. Carter and Tony Washington end up Undrafted and we get them. Another nice pick would be some fat NT

  • http://atm Raider O

    Yes Jhill.

  • lefty12

    Jhill-yep!

  • cmiychludwig

NT? Jamarcus Russell… Or Travis Ivey at pick 251… What ever happened to drafting a FB late?

  • aig

I dont think Washington is coming here. It was either Washington or Campbell and we got Campbell. Now i am hoping for some decent freeagents.

  • RaiderRockstar

30 more picks to get through …

    FB Jackson
    C Byers, Cook
    G Carter
    T Black, Capers
    DT Owens, Ross, Mullins, Ivey
    RB Blount

    Draftermath…

Incredible draft by the Silver and Black. Shored the run D with a stud “prototype” MLB, ditched Morrison, added Houston on the D line added depth and promising projects on the O line, snagged a Qb to challenge (or simply start) added a speedy return man and proved all the H/W/S analysts wrong.

    http://www.raidernationstation.com/draftermath

    Wow…

  • DKnight007

Well…..at least the old man Al is picking these freakin CB’s late in the draft instead of him interfering and REACHING for these guys in the early rounds!

Would have made my head implode! LOL

  • lefty12

Guy-if they are better prospects how come nobody else is taking them?

  • RaiderRockstar

    Asomugha, Johnson, Routt, McFadden, Ware

    PLAYOFFS!?!

With the 251st and Compensatory Pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Oakland Raiders select…..Usain Bolt.

I think thats what we ALL wanted as fans who have been critical of the drafting lately…..to be PROVEN wrong!

So all of you “Russell will be handed the job” guys have to be pretty stoked today, lol.

Like I said, all the hub-bub over the 3rd string QB was ridiculous. Same coach and owner that had him 3rd string are STILL here.

If Russell doesn’t earn anything, he won’t get anything.

    no Smokescreen. shocker!

  • jhill

I have to say that Vegas makes a good point about Jason Campbell.

I certainly hope that game plan is still run the ball, run the ball again, and run it some more!

Jason Campbell BETTER not be asked to throw the ball 30 times a game like our QBs were asked to do last year.

  • Chris in NY

Put a bow on this one with Blount, Ciron Black, Brandon Carter or Lonyae Miller.

  • jhill

    So 2 new OTs ????

Did we draft a OG, or is that what Walker and Barnes will be asked to do?

  • RaiderRockstar

nice draft for the 49ers. i hate them

  • stabler

I think Al actually orgasms as he drafts CB’s.

  • Guy

Warren fell a lot due to his slow 40 times.
Wow some of us wanted chaney in the 3rd, he went in the 7th. Same with Ciron Black.

    About donovan warren.

  • manassamauler

we dont need a guy like blount, not worth it. whos going to be our FB?

  • http://atm Raider O

    I don’t like the last 2 picks!

    I like J Chaney > ASU Kid
    HB Blount > CB Ware

  • lefty12

Campbell was forced to play in a system that wasn’t suited for him last year-a WCO.As someone pointed out-Bob Marley I believe-he is a pocket passer with some mobility. Our system is much more suited to his skills.Plus,he works.Pretty novel idea for your starting QB.

  • VT Raider

Nice hit, but can he wrap someone up and make an honest tackle?
