Unable to post Twitter updates as of now. Over-capacity when I attempt to post from my computer, and from my company phone I keep getting the message “Error posting status _ empty response. You may want to try again later.

I’ve tried dozens of times already, and don’t want to spend too much practice time with an “empty repsonse.”

Will check in after practice here regardless . . .

Ron: so anybody drafted (or undrafted) below the 1st or 2nd round isn’t as important as the “top dogs” and whoever makes the most money is more important than the next guy?

people blame the O-Line for Russell’s struggles. He was protected by a 3rd rounder & undrafted guy at the tackle spots. but those guys aren’t important, right?

Asomugha makes more money than anybody else on this team and we haven’t won more than 5 games during his time here. He’s much more important than the undrafted DT’s, right? those guys can fail and it won’t matter, but if Nnamdi gets burned GAME OVER.

come on Ron. it’s easy, right ???

please explain why it’s not important to have a quality player for pass protection & run blocking (FB). Scrubs like Lawton & Reece will do just fine?

Any bum off the street can come in and play FB.

  • RaiderRockstar

Is Vitt checking in on this blog too?

Jhill: Vittorio Tafur = Raider O

  • RaiderRon

Any bum off the street can play FB. If your gonna be stupid and take it literally as in some Jon Doe walking in downtown Seattle then, whatever. Not much I can say about that.

Come on boys explain why FBs dont get drafted and why theyr the lowest paid??

LOL! I love it. Rocker will post the full bio on a guy who wont even make the club yet he REFUSES to answer 2 simple questions. Flat out REFUSES. Translation…..He cant.

  • RaiderRon

Can you say coward?? At least Melicia was smart enough to run away….

  • Steve Nash was a complete non-factor last night…

    Go Lakers!

  • Ron, the AM crowd will only laugh at you for calling other posters “cowards”. You may disagree greatly about the relative value of FBs, but “coward” is a silly and unneeded escalation. For most of us it just brings to mind the prolonged Danish resistance to Nazi aggression.

  • RaiderRon

    Shut up Bo.

  • RaiderRon

It appears Rocker has smartened up an ran off too.

  • Just Fire Baby

Pretty simple, the shelf-life of a true-blocking FB is probably around 4 years, so they don’t have much of a premium in the draft and don’t get paid much either.

Didn’t Lorenzo Neal have like 10 straight years of blocking for a 1,000 yard back, and it was over like 3 teams and 4 or 5 runners?

Not many elite FB’s like Neal. Guarantee if Lorenzo Neal was 22 and in this draft, he would have been a 3rd or 4th rounder.

The simmering contract situations surrounding Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson and left tackle Marcus McNeill look ready to boil.

We mentioned a report from Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune earlier this week that both players that the players are prepared to sit out into training camp and beyond. ESPN’s Adam Schefter writes that is precisely their plan.

Both players do not plan to report for the start of training camp and Jackson especially appears to be readying for a long holdout that could extend into the season. We heard McNeill may sign his tender before holding out, but Schefter writes that both players plan to stay unsigned for a long time.

We don’t doubt the serious intent of both players, but this is typically tough talk for June. If we hit late August, and both players are still absent, then we’ll know they are serious.

Watch this one Jackson says before line up 4 wides with mcfadden coming out of backfield but stewart drops short td pass

Cambell is what he is solid big Improvement over Russell but no mystery he’ll be fine

RT @Rubberbadger: @VittorioTafur seems like Campbell should be on that list

Campbell td passes to h-bey and myers this is pretty yells hue Jackson oh baby

There goes mcfadden 100 yard run

And by break tackles we mean padless arm tackles

Bush breaks tackles nice run Inside

That list may change after more coffee

Top 5 most important raiders if team is to go 8-8: mcclain schillens langston walker shaughnessy Ty branch

Schillens runs hard makes cut on sideline pass drill looks good

Same with tackle Elliot Vallejo from Davis he was on practice squad last year

  • RaiderRockstar

Steve Nash was a complete non-factor last night…

BSJ: Nash had 30 points, Bryant had 29

“There goes mcfadden 100 yard run”

    the first of many 🙂

This is a once per week project and you can’t even get it right. We waited 2 weeks for today’s updates and you can’t even get it done. You suck. You should be fired.

Fire Baby: maybe you were right?

they are giving Campbell 5 guys to throw to… when would they use this in an actual game?

and I sure hope the O-Line holds up with no extra blockers :0

  • RaiderRockstar

RT @2bBigE: @VittorioTafur Langston Walker????? If he is a crucial component-we are in trouble…lol

Groves gets to boller for would-be sack

H-bey goes high for catch then another In tight coverage put him on my list
