Heading to Napa for today’s double session.
The Raiders have been out of pads for the last two sessions, so a good chance for a padded practice this morning or afternoon.
Practice updates can be found on my Twitter page, and apparently a lot of people are reading them, because I went over 5,000 followers Friday. When the Raiders started in Napa it was just over 4,000.

FB = overrated
I think the Jets Fullback last year was once a Raider, Jason Davis, who was undrafted and cut by 4 different teams.
The life-span is very short for a NFL FB, so you just need to cycle bodies in every so often.

Scratch that somewhat, they do have Tony Richardson, who started half the games for them.
Even he was undrafted and has played for a handful of teams.
Point being, let’s not get to worked about the FB.

You may not know this, let alone believe it but I have been working two jobs so I can afford a rocking chair and the Raider games on TV this year. This MT zone I am in blows and I am lucky to see two or three Raider games. I am on dish but I think I will have to get the games on the computer.
How are you going to get the games?

I bought the NFL package from DirectTV for the scorching deal of $319, last week.
As for the preseason games, I am hoping that I get a local WB-like station to carry the Raider games, like in Vegas. I get the Dallas game, will see if we get Napa and Atkinson, or some dudes in Cowboy hats.
If I don’t get the games, I will search the low-end ‘Burque sports bar to see if they have any angles.
Otherwise, it will be radio only.

JFB,you’d be pissed-my son told me the UP/Fox stations in Chico doesn’t show Raider games-even during the regular season.It’s either the whiners or GB.

My friends use to drive up for the blacked out games because we got every game in Chico.
Of course we were winning back than and the local boy wasn’t playing for the Packers.

J wigg is right, from left to right Houston Kelly Seymour and Shonasty. That IMO is a very good line it is somehwta unknown but nontheless damn good. Most scouts aren’t aware of Shonasty and Houston. I’m hearing great things about the other DE’s Grove and Richardson. Even in a pinch Wimbley. Our front 7 is deep and talented and don’t let anyone tell you differently. Last year our LB’s were a weaknes well they’re now a strength. I personally love our secondary and I know a lot of you would take issue with that. But I like the youth and the athleticism and the competitiveness. Routt would start on a lot of teams . Yeah I know you think he sucks but the truth is he is as good a 2nd corner as there is. And he’s our 3rd corner. This kid W McFadden I think will stick and stay. Who is this Joey Porter I keep hearing about this kid is another competitor who wants to be a Raider. So I feel strongly about this defense. So we’ll see…..
